Free speech and democracy are effectively dead in Germany. It has now become very clear that one must be a member of the UniParty or else you’ll be accused of being “far right” and banned from running for office. To save the German people from the totalitarians running their country, perhaps the American government needs to start tariffing Germany, say starting at 50% and then increasing by 25% every month until the amount reaches 200%. Plus, all German politicians involved with this fiasco against the democratically supported AfD, should be banned from traveling to America if this isn’t resolved by year’s end. After all, this isn’t the first time that America has saved Germany from itself.

I’m not sure I see the benefit of pressuring other countries not to commit Hari-Kari. The weaker they get, the more malleable they are. Eventually, through hardship and suffering the populations of these countries will have had enough. Europe, in particular, has a very bloody history that is prefaced by extreme apathy and elitist rule. Eventually, very quickly, and decisively things change. Maybe they will. Maybe they won’t.
Globalists haven’t the least understanding of nationalism. If they did, they’d realize the best way to put down its popularity is to ignore it altogether. This forces the nationalist to create their own “megaphone.” And, ultimately there will be individuals who sabotage the movement internally by promoting the wrong message.
Those who lose sovereignty, also lose their identity.
I’m sure there are those who believe this approach to be dangerous. Germany, in dire economic straights , and having lost a good chunk of their homeland in WW1 decided to take it back and capitalize on expansion to support their economy. Only, this time around they have negated to put the appropriate funds toward military and abused the Marshal Plan to pursue more socialist acquisitions. They’re in no position to pull themselves out of the hole militarily.
All Liberal governments seem to have a commonality. They are content with shooting themselves in the foot. They create obstacles to their own success (diversity untruths, climate change, DEI, control, rules, regulations, laws). I’d prefer to compete economically against these type countries. Perhaps that makes me a poor “world citizen.” Don’t care. Not one bit. Because as these various socialist leaning countries self-destruct, my country is focused on self-sufficiency. We have to be, because eventually the Germany’s and the Canada’s will turn into the Venezuela’s, and there will be less dependence on a global economy while the inept globalists and justice warriors define the foreign governments.

None of these people were “extremist”, or “dangerous” in any way. It was simply an illegal “insurance policy” to handicap the opposition Party. This is what Fascist governments do.
