Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

After ten years of liberal decline.. We give Trudeaus handler a chance because more of the same is going to turn things around?.. I feel like I live in Cuba..
Look up, you do.
The bright side is (there’s always a bright side) that Carnage and his cabinet will soon increase chocolate rations from 60 grams to 40 grams.
I don’t think the anti American anti Trump rhetoric that was historically consistent with smug Canadian leadership of our past really helped either Lieberals or CON-servatives.
Oh sure their supporters may have been titillated by it but most Canadians know deep down, and are connected via family and occupation with the USA, that any hardening of the relationship will harm Canadians more than the USA.
It is so seductive to blather on about what your against that what you are for.
I noted Carnage’s Trump like rhetoric “build baby build!”…..spending.
When Trump says “drill baby drill” he means production and wealth creation.
PP May have faired just as well if not better by not falling for the team Canada shtick.
Boomtards ALWAYS fall for the libtard team Canada schtick every damn election. For 10 years the libtards told us that Canada was an embarrassing genocidal nazi state and we had to pay penance and then come election time it’s rally around the flag because captain Canada himself WEF banker Carney from NYC was here to save the day. Boomtards ran to the polls in droves high on CBC elbows up chants and promises of free MAID for all and free tooth pulling.
Is there nothing you can’t blame us boomers for?
Genital hair care products.
Boomers are the very worst generation. They need to be maided out of existance.
Bring it. Along w/ friends. A lot of ’em…
Meet you in the alleyway, Moe, and see who gets made, cuck.
Carnage got majority of boomer vote. Pierre got majority of non boomer vote. Fact. Cope.
OK, that’s it. I’m off this website. I’ve seen more intelligent comments in public washroom graffiti.
ok boomer
I don’t blame you. Frankly, milud, I’ve seen more intelligent material in public toilet bowls. But please come back again once you’ve aired out your clothes properly. We benefit from your lordly presence.
it was a (S)election, not an election……..
I have two extended comments on this mess on my substack – please have a look. paul530.substack.com
Basically, I’ve come round to the view that Trump’s 51st state rhetoric is aimed at separating WanAlata from the rest of Canada and we therefore have two choices: fix Canada, or break it up.
WanAlata???
Is that a suburb of Wakanda?
Make sense or stop it.
“Craving stability”? STABILITY?
GMAFB! Canadians crave one thing: COMFORT.
No pain, no stress. So, no thoughts about the future.
I spent much of the 1980s either out of work or, if I had a job, wondering if I would still have it the next day. Having a steady paycheque was the stability I craved in those days.
Alberta’s done being screwed:

No it ain’t. But fight the rotten bastards anyway.
“Lie back and think of Andrew Coyne.”
– Rosemary Barton’s Baby
Hired a lawyer yesterday. Started the green card application today. Wife’s an American citizen. Going to take 12-18 months and then we are out of here unless the west separates in the meantime. We are leaving Canada. Heartbreaking but I just don’t see any future here, especially as my wife is a Jew and in every major city except Edmonton police let the HAMAS lover run wild harrassing Jews. Here I see only censorship, taxes, involuntary MAiD, HAMAS and general misery.
You forgot “dry cold.”
Congratulations, and welcome to you and your lovely wife.
“Until they think we might get out they won’t do anything to keep us in.”

Make it real folks
Let’s make a break for the door…it will do much for our self respect.
“When you have a lot of trees you have to at some point…see the forest.”
““There’s a monument that stands at the Alamo, it’s there not because they won…but because they fought.”
The Museum of Parliament might re-open? Interesting. Why?
The Liberal victory was not a result of the Liberals “crushing” the Conservatives, it was more a result of the consolidation of the leftist votes and rightist votes consolidating into those two parties. In 2021 the Liberals received 41.3% of the votes, with all three leftist parties (Liberals, NDP, Greens) receiving 52.7% of the votes. In 2025 the Liberals received 43.7%, and all three leftist parties 51.2% of the votes; which is a slight decrease for the left. Meanwhile the Conservatives in those two elections received 33.7% and the People’s Party 4.9%, for a total of 38.6%, in 2021; but in 2025 those same two parties received 41.3% and 0.7% for a total of 42%. The lead of the left over the right decreased from 14.1 to 9.2 percentiles, but because of the consolidation of voting support the Conservatives went from 1.1 percentiles ahead to 2.4 percentiles behind. The difference in seats won also decreased from the Liberals having 41 seats more to 25 seats more than the Conservatives. The Bloc Quebecois went from 7.6% to 6.4% and from 32 seats to 22 seats, but they are more spread across the political spectrum.
