  1. Yup. That’s Edmonton. We’ve had spring-ish weather for 2 or 3 weeks now and I’ve seen SFA done as far as cleaning up the winter rubbish or sweeping the streets. In previous years, the sweepers used to be out in force by now.

    I guess what happened during the phony plague set the standard. Back then, grass on city property remained uncut for weeks at a time because, well, properly attending to it would have spread disease or some such nonsense. But Dumbass Donnie Iveson was mayor then, so what’s Soji’s excuse for leaving Edmonton looking so unslovenly?

  2. During our 2017 tour of Israel traveling a highway, Jewish settlement on one side, Palestinian on the other. 1 side pristine, the other a veritable garbage dump. Take what you want from my snippet.

  4. this is another reason lm letting go of my place, l cant afford to maintain a single dwelling on just pension. so l rent rooms. one of them l let her kid stay out of some custody thing. an absolute PIG. when they cleared out there were 100s mouse turds on the floor once you could SEE the floor from the trash.
    the quality of rooming house tenants as severely slid in the 20 years and a bit that lve been doing this. the crinkled aluminum foil, dirty dishes, garbage garbage garbage. lm outta here. ReMax agent gave me a number, lve tracked down a real estate lawyer, just need to find a place for only me and my 3 puppies.

  5. Just curious what those lovely homes whose backyards look upon the blank backside of a shitty strip mall with even shittier housekeeping cost? $1.5M ? Higher? Is that the kind of 500,000 new housing units your incoming shit-liberal Party are promising? Or will they even be MORE grim? Shitty little prefab boxes housing 3rd trash who even give less a shit?

  6. Would it be racist to point out that in the country Sohi came from, open defecation was the norm? They recently have built a 110 million crappers and now only 11% dump in the open.

    Having lived in a “shit hole” country for over 2 years, I can tell you the citizens of the county own nothing and have no pride of ownership. I rented a home in a compound. The renters were ex pats from first world countries.
    It was cleaned and maintained by locals paid by local landlords who were receiving good US Dollars from the ex pats to live in a first world level environment. But outside the compound it was an environmental wasteland.
    Without someone pushing cleanliness and environmental health standards on them – the neighborhood goes to shit.

  9. I’ve been a property manager for long enough to know that whoever manages this site does a lousy job. Hiring a litter pick contractor isn’t that much money. You couldn’t get a landscape contractor to clean up that level of garbage so I’m assuming they don’t cut the grass either.
    If I had a Tenant leaving crap like that out back I’d have it removed and charge him for the removal. That usually gets their attention.
