Wednesday On Turtle Island

Woke America:  The truth about Trump’s tariffs.  Partisan actors terminated in the military.  A big lie.

Great Leader Kim Sung Carney’s Canada:  Socialist dirty tricks.  Carney’s star Liberal candidate. A chronic pattern.  Another “Elbows Up” China Liberal candidate.

Stories You Won’t Find At The CBC:  A German government from hell.  Happy Nepali New Year.  A book review.  Wildfires in Scotland.  A nappy fetishist.

And at the Bee.

  1. John Olthuis just had a Kinsley Gaffe, where he told Canadians that they should give up on manufacturing, and just provide the raw materials and food, to China so they can manufacture all we need… never mind that Carney’s plan for Net-Zero Growth will largely have the same effect, though the restrictions on fertilizer will reduce the amount of food produced.

  2. John Olthuis is probably “friends” with the misanthropic Idiot Intellectual, UnMe – Slave labour, Child labor, Indentured servitude, oh yeah!

I bet John thinks the Chicoms should provide national defence as well, seeing as they’re going to make our military hardware.

    #LiberalsAreTraitors.

  3. What are the odds of the legacy media covering Ryan Turnbull now that ballots are printed and there is a price to pay for the Liberals doing the “right” thing, insofar as their position on the issue? Is there a probability less than 0?. Perhaps they will go into active measures to give him cover rather than not report it, that might get into the area of negative probabilities?

  4. On the subject of “partisan hacks fired by the military”, I would like to point out that after WW2 the Western Allies hanged German generals and political leaders for crimes against peace and crimes against humanity because they invaded other countries. The military officers, unsuccessfully, tried the “I was just following orders” defence at the post war war crimes trials. So when your boss says that the US needs to take over someone else’s territory I can understand why there would be a bit of introspection while one decides whether or not they are the good guys in this scenario and what the potential ramifications are for being involved it in.

      1. Did you read the article? I know most times people don’t bother, but sometimes knowing what’s going on helps one understanding what’s going on.

Quote – “The latest “victim” is Colonel Susannah Meyers, the base commander at Pituffik Space Base in Greenland. She was fired last week after Vice President JD Vance visited the base. That visit, as some may recall, was when Vance strongly expressed the need for the U.S. to acquire Greenland for national security reasons.”

          1. Are you retarded? Is everyone supposed to completely ignore everything he says and just wait until he acts on his words?

If I was in his army and he started saying he was going to seize the territory of supposedly allied nations I’d quit. In a free democratic country the armed forces are there to protect you from your enemies, not to engage in territorial expansion operations.

          2. You know the US already has approx 150 military personnel in Greenland, don’t you?

        1. “Are you retarded? Is everyone supposed to completely ignore everything he says and just wait until he acts on his words?”

Yes. Have you learned nothing about the man? He says a lot of things he doesn’t actually mean…it’s IN HIS BOOKS as a negotiating tactic, FFS….

  5. regarding ms greenland’s dismissal, l have to admit l was torn considering a career in the amed forces for one very compelling reason.
much much respect and gratitude for what our armed forced accomplished. feeling ld like to be part of it.
fully agree there has to be a very strict recognition chain of command.
also have a strong sense of justice and fairness.
l could foresee a situation where the 2 imperatives collide. l cdnt deal with it.
bury my conscience whilst injustice ‘X’ remains unaddressed or speak out against a commander and breach that stricture.
l cd see it coming. little did l know the ‘thing’ l may have spoken out against is wokeness in the military.
conclusion: opting for a career outside the Cdn Armed Forces was in my case correct.

  6. So, a Lieberal votes “yea” to criminalise conversion therapy but then complains about faggots. This must be where you stand for nothing and fall for anything.
