Canada’s consul in New York billed taxpayers hundreds of dollars for wine-soaked meals with former media colleagues, despite federal rules forbidding alcohol expenses without high-level approval.
Same guy who spent excessive amounts of money on a residence in NYC. I think he is abusing his position and should be asked to leave. Surely the lack of judgement is an embarrassment to the government.
