The Great Replacement

The Bureau- “It’s the Community. It’s the Family. It’s the City”: U.S. Experts Warn Canada Is Losing the Fight Against PRC Criminal Networks—Washington Has Run Out of Patience

Canadian cannabis, grown legally or under false licensing schemes, is now a major export commodity for these Chinese crime networks, the expert said. Black-market marijuana is flooding into New York and New Jersey, undercutting legitimate growers in both countries. But more alarmingly, marijuana trafficking is being integrated with fentanyl operations.

“They’re polydrug traffickers, and they’re transnational. The fentanyl cash, the marijuana, the ketamine—it’s all moving through the same networks.”

    1. If this is about avenging the opium wars, then China should be exacting revenge on Britain and France.
This is really about belt and road shite, and using vengeance as required. Oh, and land grabs, and taking advantage of western demise, etc.
      Have a nice day.

      1. Yes because it was Britain and France that invented opium!
Oh wait a minute, I’m sorry, it was the Chinese and other asiatics that
invented opium. I wonder how it is that Britain and France are blamed for it when it was the Chinese and other
        asiatics that invented it.

          1. In each(Opium war, Brit and French, circa 1900s), the superior military advantages enjoyed by European forces led to several easy victories over the Chinese military, with the consequence that China was compelled to sign the unequal treaties to grant favourable tariffs, trade concessions, reparations and territory to Western powers. The two conflicts, along with the various treaties imposed during the century of humiliation, weakened the Chinese government’s authority and forced China to open specified treaty ports (including Shanghai) to Western merchants.[3][4] In addition, China ceded sovereignty over Hong Kong to the British Empire, which maintained control over the region until 1997.

  1. So, Chinese National “students” are waltzing into Toronto-Dominion Bank with duffle bags filled with $Millions cash (as high as $4 Million in some cases). TD Bank says, fine, let’s get you an account. The Chinese National “student” remains in your country and likely makes another “deposit” down the road. The Canadian govt. was tipped off to this and did nothing. Eventually FinCEN filed penalties on TD Bank of nearly $1.5 Billion. TD Bank says: Fine, here’s the penalty. I guess we’ll fire our Director.

No indictments of employees within the bank who admitted to taking bribes. No follow up on employees of TD Bank who were threatened to cooperate. No substantial effort to remedy the situation by the Canadian govt.

Gosh, I wonder why the US is losing patience and as a tag along, is applying tariffs to Canada.

      1. $3 billion was the cost of doing business, and had zero real effect on their stock price. Additionally, with a net income in 2024 of $8.8 billion, on revenues of $53 billion, it’s not like they are hurt too much with that fine.

  2. It’s a sad commentary about our society that wants to use drugs to such a ridiculous extent that such an embarrassing supply chain has developed. There must not be any shame to drug use any more.

    1. Come to Saskatchewan and you’ll see that there’s absolutely no shame in using or dealing.

    1. considering Harpoon Harper wanted to take a huge step BACK and invoke serious penalties for merely TOKING which very broadly speaking isnt a LOT different than drinking, AND such draconianism as CANCELLING the practice of including ‘time served’ in criminal sentences (all of it not just pot stuff), WITHOUT a drop of money to address the inevitable ‘bump’ in incarceration numbers, suffice to say thats why I proudly voted the bully OUT.

  3. The US has lost patience?
This usually precedes some action to be taken to address a problem they deem a risk to national security.

There is justification here for the US to put Canada under protected status to get the problem under control.

    1. they will wait till after the election. i can see troops sent in the quell the natives. will be spun as carney invited them while our guys are on pronoun training

  4. “They’re polydrug traffickers, and they’re transnational. The fentanyl cash, the marijuana, the ketamine—it’s all moving through the same networks.”

    Aaaand Trump was right, again!!

The only “business” thriving in Canada, are underground businesses… With the way everything is going, punitive taxes et all, no wonder, the biggest businesses *(besides government approved ones) are all in illicit industries!

    Way to go Canada!

We could be the economic powerhouse of the world, if the government could get its shit together!

  5. What has it been? Ten years? Since CTV reported on BC casinos laundering hockey bags full of $millions in cash and authorities did nothing about it. They must have paid off all the right people.

    1. Paid off and/or blackmailed — the drug traffickers do a great little side hustle with human trafficking; U.S. isn’t the only place to have Diddy parties and the like.

Plus your laws make it really easy for criminals to operate.

By the way, ever looked into Canada’s kidnapping rate?

  6. “ undercutting legitimate growers in both countries. “

“legitimate”. Ain’t nuthin “legitimate” about this dangerous drug – IDGAF how “enlightened” you think you are for “legally” growing it or advocating for its legal sale to the masses. You have blood on your hands in my book. It has ruined tens of millions of lives across multiple generations.

    1. well mr thought, same could be said for a host of ‘legitimate’ pharmaceuticals.
care to google ‘mRNA side effects’? and AND it was FORCED onto the populace.
plus, shocking !!!! thc being a *naturally occuring compound* (many drugs are ya know!!!) actually does have therapeutic value for some:

so feel free to shut yer yap about ‘no medicinal value’ even if its a tiny minority that are helped wy stop it from some century old stigma?

  7. its Canada’s fault the American’s have addicts, Right?? we have our own and I don’t recall Canada blaming the American’s

    1. Did you even read the article?

PS. this isn’t just a problem for America; drugs are heading out globally from ports in Canada, and how many Canadians are having problems with said drugs.

  8. “Canadian cannabis, grown legally or under false licensing schemes, is now a major export commodity for these Chinese crime networks, the expert said. Black-market marijuana is flooding into New York and New Jersey,”

    Based. Another win for globalization.
