This doesn’t surprise me. All the dogs in our family were miniature dachshunds. They were all intelligent and, for the most part, single-minded.
In the 1970’s and 80’s, I worked with a great structural engineer who had a dachshund named Rommel. He definitely was the “desert fox”!

She claims (multiple times) that her husband is “disrespecting” her. Disrespected!! You know who also felt disrespected? That black kid at the TX track meet. He claims some white kid told him he was sitting in the wrong place, with the wrong team … which was “disrespectful”. So he stabbed the kid in the heart and killed him.
I assume an “influencer” like her is setting the narrative about important things such as being “disrespected”. I’m surprised that her first thought was divorce … and not stabbing her husband in the heart?
Good thing she refuses to prepare his meals. That rules out poisoning his food as an option.
