The War on Intelligence

It’s often said that if you want to get better at something, stop playing with people you can easily beat and instead play against people who are better than you. This applies to chess, tennis, hockey, and pretty much every other activity.

The hosts of the All-In-Podcast are exceptionally smart and incredibly successful. In the most recent example, guest host Cyan Banister offered strong words of warning for Americans. She provided a long term perspective of how incredibly destructive DEI, Wokeness, and the war on excellence and meritocracy has been. One can only speculate how much worse things are in Canada given the reign of Dear Leader the past 9 years. The other hosts chimed in and this chart was displayed:

  1. Despite “white women college” implacably against the GOP, Trump and Elon, they still have Democrats in the ditch.

      1. Maybe you’re right, UnReal…
Maybe women in college will finally wake up and join the MAGA movement along with just about everyone else.

  2. Anyone who has ever lived with a college educated white woman will not be surprised at their strong support for war. Wars in which they will never have to participate.

  3. Unsurprising really…..considering the (Jill Biden) “I have a PhD in ‘Gullibility 101′” (cough, cough) ‘graduates’.

    1. I read her dissertation. If THAT’s what we call “college educated” in this nation … then we’ve utterly lost the plot.

    1. I know! I know! … because she checks the MOST DEI boxes. What do I win!?

Is she holed-up in some remote location, prepping for her 2028 run? Brushing up on her elocution? Kinda reminds me of the stories of Biden spending a week prepping for his ultimately disastrous debate that Dokktor Jill cheered as Joe’s most FANTASTIC performance.

BTW … “if you know nothing, say something” … made me pass coffee through my nose.

  4. A lot can be inferred from this chart and no doubt some comedian will point out that the men called upon to do the majority of work and labour to keep this society functioning are the men that did not have the advantage, time, or where-with-all to attend the three plus years to become ‘educated’, they were just too busy making a place and a living which inadvertantly created our society and by the same tenet it could be argued that perhaps women best serve their position in society by being wives and mothers. (Pardon me for addressing this in its politically correct phrasology(?))!!!!!!

    1. The men who didn’t attend college are either 1) skilled enough in trades not to need it or more likely 2) literally too stupid to attend anything beyond Trump U

      1. ‘stupid’ heyo unmebot, care to expand on that? is everyone who is abysmal at, oh, say, surgery, orchestral instrument, microbiology, name 100 other skills, are they ALL ‘stupid’ or, MAYBE we all have some skills and gifts and it takes WORK and experience to find out what they are?
do all the mentally handicapped, down’s syndrome, etc folks out there LIMITED to what they can do but fiercely DETERMINED to do their best also ‘stupid’??? hmmm?
maybe a better gauge is *to what extent does an individual utilize whatever abilities they have to engage in self sufficiency* compared to the lazy ones including verifiable ‘geniuses’ who DONT LIFT A FINGER, are the REAL ‘stupid’ ones?

otoh the one thing youre ‘good at’ is trolling. at that youre a true expert. and the stupidest one on this blog.

        1. You should really have it figured out by the end of first year high school, if you don’t it might be time to get good at waiting tables.

          1. You just showed how utterly out of touch you are with the human race. People all develop at different rates and times. You’re like the HS Counselor my son met with as a freshman in HS … mapping out his HS career … she didn’t believe his B+ work in middle school had prepared him for the rigorous AP track we planned out. She “counseled” him to “stay in his lane” … blah, blah, blah. I have never been so angered at a public school ever before in my life.

We transferred schools (within our district) … where my son graduated with honors, was awarded “athlete of the year” for soccer, and ultimately graduated from UCLA with an “Applied Math” degree. Yeah … about the only ‘white’ name announced at graduation along the Dings and Dongs.

HS counselor #1 was a bloody (unT … a woman. A highly regarded education and emotional “expert” … who was in reality a woman with POWER … who was deciding my son’s future by BANNING him from AP classes and extracurriculars just like you propose. You people are not only idiots … you’re dangerous.

          2. Counselor #1 had the write diagnosis just the wrong prescription and prognosis. Your son needed to do better and switching schools apparently did the trick.

          3. “right diagnosis”

Don’t worry, I have lots of patience for ESL speakers

No. No she didn’t. She, like you, don’t understand how humans grow and develop outside some “norms” you’ve established. Yes, switching to a school that understands children and child development at a deeper level was all it took. Avoiding people like you. Small minded people with a moment of Power … wielding it like a fool.

Where do we go from here
Now that all other children are growin’ up?
And how do we spend our lives
If there’s no one to lend us a hand?

I don’t wanna live here no more
            I don’t wanna stay
Ain’t gonna spend the rest of my life
            Quietly fading away, ah

            Words you should learn

          4. Write diagnosis. Bwaahahahaha. You try and sound intelligent but that right there proves you really are a dole bludging, cheezle eating, porn watching, leftard twit. With a yellow pe….

      2. University makes a person “smart” like you and too useless to do anything beyond twisting words away from their traditional meaning.

      3. Stupid is making generalizations about people one doesn’t know, or anything about them. Way to go.

      4. If you had one serious clue about life , actually I think you do you just cheated at most of it.
I don’t know about you I had to earn the first beer I ever had.
I didn’t steal it, I had it handed to me ice cold on a Friday night.
        After doing hay all afternoon.
At fifteen I was handed a beer by a smiling hard ass boss and drank it with men, one being my father there to pick me up.
It was a Blue, I can still see the condensation on the bottle , and I’ll never forget it.
You remind me of the d— I had for a vice principal asking me what I was going to do with the rest of my life?
I wouldn’t trade life experience for a piece of paper 42 years later.
You won’t understand that ,but in retrospect neither did the vice principle.
That’s why you have no real respect for yourself or anyone else.

        1. I had a vice principle like that when I quit high school.
That said, as I mentioned way down below, you are all feeding the reprehensible UnHuman.
Stop it. He/she does that to make the thread noisy, which blurs the signal.

          1. You’re right. I need to stop allowing his leftist malignancy … trigger me.

But it DID afford me the opportunity to work some classic Alan Parsons into the argument 🙂 … hahaha ha ha ha … I amuse myself

      5. The truth is that women tend to gravitate to the useless faculties….probably the same ones you attended.

        1. They should never have been given the vote. We should take it away.
They are 90% FILTHY LIBERALS who vote from the Children’s perspective.

“Men are Talking”….Women appreciate hearing that.
They will immediately run to the Kitchen and make a delicious sandwich for you.

          FILTHY LIBERALS

    2. yep.
literally in the trenches, in the driver’s seat of the massive machines that can pluck 10 tonnes of dirt in one swipe, that have built 100s trillions worth of structures and vehicles, trains, aircraft, . . . where do the get the knowledge and skill set to do that? is that embedded in white male DNA?
me? well, l got my feet in both camps. BA & BSc but NOT before and during which l aced a term as electrician’s assistant (everything inspected by Ontario Hydro PASSED first time) renovated 5 houses for quick sale, now the 5th one also.

so, lm in category ‘white men college’ but my numbers far closer to the drk green just to the left.
God Bless Donald Trump, a rude, outspoken, call it like he sees it screw euphemisms and ‘diplomatic’ bafflegab, successful BUSINESSMAN who is applying his skill set to rescue the nation that gave him the golden opportunities to generate wealth.
      etc etc.

      1. Your last paragraph is proof enough that people like you shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Voting should be reserved the truly learned.

          1. “Other than soy boys, who talks like this? lol.”
            College educated women like UnMe.

        1. tsk tsk tsk. well, unmebot, in my case feel free to chalk up my bluntness to ‘high functioning autism’. we’se the bunch are ‘stupid’ when it comes to social skills, but as the grade 9 guidance counsellor said in 1965 “significantly above average analytical skills”. which recently for instance, l used to satisfy my personal curiosity on a corollary of E=Mc2.
thats the math, mass into energy. that one l figured out by finally realizing what *type* of energy? electromagnetic. which travels at . . . c speed of light.
but then l asked myself how does the conversion actually happen? HOW can matter turn into energy *regardless* of the numbers?

then it also came to me.

at the tiniest of scales, if you swell up a proton to the size of the solar system (while maintaining the mass), then pluck part of that out, the size of a proton, and swell it up again, THEN pluck a part again th size of a proton, take a look at it. the ‘mass’ has virtually disappeared.
AT THAT SCALE MASS AND ENERGY ARE THE SAME ‘THING’. its only at the current vastly (comparatively) bigger scale does that ‘thing’ manifest as mass OR energy.
and the nuclear reaction provides the inertia, to ‘jostle’ all those ‘things’ that are at the time manifesting as mass, ie protons, allowing them to ‘free’ themselves up to then manifest as ENERGY.
so the answer ‘how’ does it work, came to me in the form of a model, to whit, at the tiniest scale imaginable mass and energy are the SAME.
proof of which is light itself, the ‘slit interference’ experiment, behaving as BOTH a wave AND a particle.
          good enough for my purposes.

but, lm ‘stupid’ according to the #1 troll on the Cdn blogosphere.

          1. Impressive. My mind doesn’t have the ability to grasp such abstract concepts. I’m a touchy-feely “visual thinker”. If I can’t see it and touch it … I struggle to understand it. Mechanics Physics? No problem. Electrical? Nuclear Physics? I’m useless.

        2. No, only men or women that are land owners or pay net positive in taxes or have fought in a war or been conscripted for war should be allowed to vote. I doubt UnMe that you fit in any of those categories.
Living in your mother’s basement, living off your wife’s boyfriend’s income or any government worker should not be allowed to vote. I am sure InMe that you would qualify in at least two of those groups.

          1. Skin in the game. An investment in our culture and society. People who build things .. don’t tear things down

        3. I dropped out of high school long ago, opened a business and passed those educational savings along to my customers for many years. I am now comfortably retired.

How are you doing? Who tells you what to do all day? What’s in you cubicle.

          1. A life like yours … lived well … is like hot burning coals heaped on Unman’s head

        4. “… reserved the truly learned.”
In English, that excludes the truly learned. I suppose you meant reserved for the truly learned, but you type faster than you can think.

        5. …after spending the first paragraph pretty much destroying your “proof” of fp being uneducated!

          Real classy, UnReal.

          Sorry… I meant “pathetic.”

          1. Don’t forget ” write diagnosis”. That’s write (sic) up there with “there house” or “over their”. UnDone will never live that faux pas down.

  5. In any social environment, first impressions are super important. If you want to be
“liked” and supported, get their emotional attention first. Appealling to their intelligenge is a secondary factor.

  6. I’m not surprised that white college educated women love Zelensky, he represents their dark fantasies. I’ve known many wce women who not-so-secretly lust after bikers and serial criminals as they fantasize about “taking a walk on the wild side” from the safe confines of their upper middle class life.
Zelensky has the image of the virile young warrior and has a good job to boot, so he fits the fantasy.

      1. The only thing he’s defending is his bank account, meanwhile sending a 45yo median age army to die in pointless, unceasing trench warfare. What a hero!

          1. I suppose you didn’t see videos of how Zelensky “recruits” his troops to go fight in the meat grinder.
Young and old, it doesn’t matter. Whether you’re 15 or 45, your are literally rounded up like cattle, dragged from your home, handed a rifle, and sent to fight in a war that’s making the elitists rich, laundering the BILLIONS being sent to fight this insane war. Unfortunately for the men (and women) who are sent to fight, there’s a good chance they won’t be coming home.
And if you refuse to go and fight, you are shot pretty much on the spot.
That’s what this crazy war is doing, and you support this shit. Not surprising. People on the left have gone completely bat-shit crazy. They’ve lost their moral compass. They have become the very thing they claim to hate… fascists! Not just fascists, but GENOCIDAL fascists! Just like the you-know-who’s from the you-know-where’s during the you-know-which war.

      2. Yawwwn … you mean a “minor incursion” as approved by loose-brained Biden, as drafted by “genius IVY leaguer” Jake Sullivan

      3. Since he has amassed an over 1 billion net worth from nothing, and never risked a bullet himself, I’d call that good work if you can get it.

      1. Well,DB,if you actually ARE a biker, you must know that is factual. Drop by a Hell’s Angels bar in Vancouver some time and check out the groupies. Then talk to some of them, but don’t ask her to go home with you.

        1. I’ve been riding for nearly 45 years. And, yes, I’ve seen the groupies, but I’m not a patch holder. It’s funny, ’cause my lovely bride is otherwise a bit of a wallflower, yet we’ve been together for 35 years. I’m pretty sure the ‘bad boy’ image was at least partly responsible for our success.

  7. Simply, all that chart shows, is that propaganda works.
When you’re force fed leftist ideas for an additional 4 yrs in Uni/College, and the “group think” of the mass compelles you to fall inline, and think like the group.
You’re bound to come out walking and talking like a leftist lunatic.

    1. It shows the result of the modern rights’ inability to either infiltrate or establish institutions of value.

  8. Everyone is susceptible to propaganda and peer pressure, but I’ve always sensed that teenage and 20-something girls/women are the most susceptible. Now we see 50+ year old women at protests, screaming that Trump is a Nazi and all Teslas should be firebombed. This is clearly a sign that their maturity levels are that of an acorn.

    1. Boomer liberal men are even worse. I get stupid kids doing dumb vandalism but 60-year-old men?

      1. “Boomer liberal men are even worse. I get stupid kids doing dumb vandalism but 60-year-old men?”

I miss the days when people acted their age…when you grew up, became an adult and put all the immaturity of your youth behind you. When your middle-aged peers would ridicule you for dressing or acting like a teenager. Now it seems to be some kind of a badge of honour to refuse to grow up.

(something that we see all too much of here on SDA, frankly…)

    2. Likewise, why do governments suck?
A: government workers are white college educated grrrls.

      An old adage needs modifying:
… “an educated woman is a fifth columnist” (rather than “a benefit to family”)

    3. Robert,

Manson Family. Indeed, them young gals are entirely as you describe.
It’s like cos-play, they “belong” to something.
No matter how deranged, stupid or evil, they want to belong.

  9. Basically, if you have a functioning brain or can at least pretend to, you loathe Orange Tard and support Ukraine.

    1. Orange Tard is MAGA and Ukraine is a distraction.. Trumps says up and the haters say down.. No matter the context.. I think it might be politics more than any sober decision..

      1. Well if Trump says up then it’s almost certain to be anything but up, or it might be up but with a lot of caveats.

    2. True, but once you transcend past “functioning brain” your opinion becomes more rational.

Btw; I fully support people with functioning brains who loathe orange tard being allowed to participate in society to the best of their abilities.

      1. “Btw; I fully support people with functioning brains who loathe orange tard being allowed to participate in society to the best of their abilities.”

You almost had me there. 😉

    3. And don’t forget your “safe and effective” booster’s booster’s booster. That’s what all the “smart” people did with their “functioning” brain.

        1. You have to know what I’m going to say to that…

PROVE IT! Cite your source! I dare you!

Because all the evidence I’ve seen to date contradicts your statement.

          1. @UnReal:
Based on your previous posts, unlikely, coward!

            And about the word “literally…”

I don’t think it means what you think it means…

…because your use of it in this context is poor.

You just disproved your own smear against me, and made yourself look like a jerk in the process.

  10. I hear 80% of federal government workers are white females.. Who almost all vote the same way.. This is deep state depressing..

    1. OMG, that’s it! They all think they are Molly Ringwald from The Breakfast Club!

      1. I meant it as a genre. Hughes films ultimately make “heroes” out of self-derived outcasts, while denigrating anyone in those films who is considered successful. Every sports stand out is a bully. Every businessman is creepy and crooked. Every teacher is incompetent.

  11. So, speaking of intelligence… Mike Myers is bravely standing with China and appearing in a Carney campaign spot.

    https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/warmington-carney-myers-lecture-on-being-a-canadian-after-spending-years-abroad

“Mr. Prime Minister,” said the man as he nestles up to the boards in front of a Canadian flag, taped the wall.

“Mike Myers?” asks a surprised Carney? “What are you doing here?”

Myers: “I just thought I would come up and check on things.”

Carney: “You live in the states?”

Myers: “Yeah, but I will always be Canadian.”

Carney: “But, you live in the states?”

    Myers: “Yeah, so?”

At that point Carney gives Myers the Canadian test.

    “Do you remember Mr. Dressup?”

Myers: “The children’s show on CBC?”

Carney: “What were the names of Mr. Dressup’s two puppet friends?”

    Myers: “Casey and Finnegan.”

There you have it, ladies and gentleman: the very definition of Canada’s core identity. What it means to be truly Canadian: You remember Mr. Dressup and Casey and Finnegan.

    1. Some of the other questions were just as bad…
      Carney: “Tragically”
      Myers: “Hip.”
      etc.
The hip were an overrated bar band.
As for Mr. Dressup, he creeped me out.
Casey was a scold, and kinda gay.
I liked Finnegan, though. A nice quiet dog.
PS: UnMe is stupid. Quit talking to him/her.

      1. Two questions I wanted to hear:

“Mike, why don’t you live in Canada?”

“Mike, where do you keep your money?”

      2. “PS: UnMe is stupid. Quit talking to him/her.”

Agreed. You only feed its insatiable need for attention and validation by engaging with it.

    2. I watched that this morning.
      My college-educated, former-teacher, boomer-aged, sister-in-law sent it me.
She knows me extremely well, but she’s intellectually incapable of understanding how offensive it is to me.
She’s the poster woman for liberals.

    3. Yeah, but don’t forget, “The Friendly Giant”, eh!

No Captain Kangaroo or Rumpus Room for Canadians. In true Canadian icon fashion per Gordie Howe, “Elbows Up!”

Lord is this what we have descended to!!!!

    4. “So, speaking of intelligence… Mike Myers is bravely standing with China and appearing in a Carney campaign spot.”

As much as I disagree with the message (sure, let’s completely destroy Canada’s economy just to prove how ‘tough’ we are) I really did like the rapid-fire word association at the end. I had to laugh…it *was* funny.

    5. ““Mike Myers?” asks a surprised Carney? “What are you doing here?””

      I am already cringing.

    6. I just watched “the Fringe,” and he showed us the receipts on Myers.
Lives in America, became an American citizen, makes his living in America, and even went on record claiming to be proud to be an American.

Not only that, but the Fringe is under the impression that he was paid by the Carnage campaign to appear in that spot to the tune of between 23 and 25 thousand dollars.

This is the Canadian version of Harris/Beyonce. Hopefully it backfires, but given the level of intelligence of your average Canuckistanian, I don’t think that would be realistic.

  12. Looking at the percentages in each of the categories: no wonder why I can’t get along with anyone with the exception of some blue collar men.

  13. 60% of liberal women are being treated for mental illness – and the rest go untreated!

Explains a lot. A circle jerk that everyone else gets to pay for…

  14. In reality, “College educated” is a completely meaningless concept. The real question is what FACULTY were they “educated” in? I suspect that females tend to be far more likely to enter the useless faculties where they are not “educated”, but indoctrinated.

    1. Yes the social sciences. We did mock them at university as science degrees for people who find math “hard.”

  15. Oh nonsense. My wife and I are college graduates. We are white. So is her father, his wife, my brother, and any number of friends of ours. We love Trump, we love Musk, we love JD Vance. We can’t stand leftists or other virtue signalling morons. All of us are fed up with stupid people of any race or gender.

  16. The support that white women have for the Ukraine war is shocking.. A unreasoned position seeing as they have a zero chance of fighting in it or paying for it.. War monger cat ladies?.. What am I missing?..

  17. My opinion unsupported by any real research is that liberals generally support Ukraine out of a sense of order, that the borders they see on maps are inviolable and anyone who questions them is automatically doing something wrong. Conservatives (not neo-cons) generally take a more subtle approach to this question, a border needs to conform to some reality. The Russia-Ukraine border after 1991 (really after 1970 but it did not matter in Soviet times) did not make a lot of sense, Crimea should have gone to Russia and so probably should two or three eastern regions. So this was a war waiting to happen, and once combined with Putin being understandly nervous about NATO activity in Ukraine, inevitable.

An end to it will depend on convincing Putin that Trump is strong enough and durable enough to guarantee Ukraine will not join NATO and that the globalist experiment is now reversing. If he does not form those opinions, he is likely to stall and refuse to declare the war over even if offered better terms than he has heard so far from Ukraine (or NATO).

Now Trump is pushing the envelope by saying quite candidly (and probably not as a troll) that he sees the border between Canada and U.S. in same way. This is alarming to almost all Canadians who know that any collapse in good will could leave us prone to invasion and occupation. The results of that would be quite predictable and it would no doubt be reversed by almost any other president. Since most Americans in the military power echelons know this, they could refuse to follow orders if commanded to invade Canada. Some might think, oh this guy is an idiot, Trump is just trolling and would never do that.

It is exactly what people were saying in Vienna in early 1938. I am torn between supporting a lot of the Trump agenda and also hating globalism, yet longer term I do not see justification for Trump to view Canada as Putin views Ukraine, a pretend country that should not exist and should be run by more competent overseers. This is an incredibly dangerous (and illegal in terms of international law) viewpoint. As much as Canada has harmed me personally and made my life virtually unlivable, I still believe it has potential but also that a merger needs to be on respectful and equal terms and mainly just an economic, not a poilitical union. There are things about republics that are considerably different from constitutional monarchy, and not always for the better as most Americans tend to assume.
