UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops
If memory serves, the loony leftists have embraced the alleged killer of Thompson. After seeing this ad, the officers of Brookfield, past and present, might want to engage bodyguards. Lots of copycat loonies in the world.

  2. This messaging is slow and counterproductive.

If the CPC wants to attack Carney they should just repeat “Always Wrong, Never in Doubt” and show how the CAD and GBP performed while he was Gov of BOC and BOE. It should show how the wealth gap grew with his policies and how he used his government position to help his well connected (Brookfield) friends.

No Canadian gives a damn about Trump voting Americans with crappy healthcare right now.

    1. Keep it simple. Since Carney likes to plagiarize: “Vote for Carney! Davos needs representation!”.

  3. Will these ads ever make it on to Canadian TV? Carney has a wealth of scandals in his business career waiting to be exposed, Sam Cooper’s articles on Carney’s close relationship with China is enough to make any sensible person avoid the guy like the black plague.
Then there’s his alleged relationship with Maxwell and Epstein.

  4. Too long. Canadians get their “factual news” from Facebook and Reddit headlines. They Have the attention span of a gnat.

    1. Not only was that too long for an attack ad but it was of minimal interest to Canadians. As far as political ads go, it sucked, it blew, it stunk.

    2. Yeah, I’m a gnat. This video is a piece of shit because they pretend they’re a TV show and they need to keep us glued to the screen until after the commercial break.

Tell us the summary and then provide the evidence!

  5. Dripping with so much con desperation that it’s pitiful

Man, PP was so close to the end zone he could taste it, only for Fatboy Donnie to knock the ball right out of his hands.

    1. Heh. He never even touched Pee-pee or the ball. When Pee-pee heard Trump breathing behind him he shat himself, slipped in it, and lay there there rolling and flailing like a Euro football star.

      1. UnMe and his boyfriend and his other boyfriend must have time on their hands before the dispensary opens in their hood. That allowed them to chime in here.

    2. Heard the one about not counting chickens before they hatch? A great deal can happen in the course of an election. Polievere is not leading as he was with Trudeau at the helm, but he is still very competitive.

      1. That’s fair. It ain’t over. But I wouldn’t be betting the mortgage money on PP either.

        1. And IF PP does in fact win, I doubt it will be a majority so in the long run nothing will change. Not that I had high hopes PP would make any drastic changes.

      2. The one mistake PP, the cons, and their supporters made was in fact, counting chickens. I tried to warn everyone to not take for granted that PP was a shoe-in.
It now appears that Carney, the libs, and their supporters, especially in the media, are making the same mistake.

I’m on record here saying that I didn’t want the turd to resign, because PP was going to have a much more competitive race against the turd’s replacement.
I wish that the cons would have paid more attention.

Hay IDIOT, the cons had/have NO say in the libtard leadership fiasco. So WTF are you whining about?

        2. “The one mistake PP, the cons, and their supporters made was in fact, counting chickens. I tried to warn everyone to not take for granted that PP was a shoe-in.”

No, the real mistake is being Liberal Lite…which is why their support was a mile wide but only an inch deep. Now that the LPC has a new leader it is safe for all the supposed CPC voters to come back to the fold. Why vote Liberal Lite when you can vote for the real Liberals again?

        3. Sure let’s pretend not to notice the real reason for the change in Cons’ political fortunes. Let’s pretend that there was reason other than Trump. You can’t blame Cons for not expecting Trump to be a backstabbing delusional narcissist. And it wasn’t even calculated or premeditated, it is just sociopathic arrogance.

It is not over by a long shot, but had Trump kept his delusional snout shut it would have been.

Of course many morons here will belive that there is actually a realistic chance of Canada becoming the 51st state and will spank themselves at the prospect. Not going to happen morons. Just like Wexit did not happen this will not happen either.

    3. I suspect most of the liberals posting here are teachers, since they are the only ones with an abundance of free time

      1. Why are you in here every day? You’re an unemployed drain on society, I’m assuming

        1. What are you doing here, DSR???

You know what they say about people who ass-u-me, don’t you?

        2. Unemployment. From the warehouse? Ending in the warehouse? Haunted by the warehouse? So many tantalising possibilities. Here, I have a fresh crate of tequila.

    4. The TDS is stronk with CPC voters, going back before the 51st state quips. They would rather cozy up to EU globalists than a MAGA Fortress North America. The CINOs deride populists as tin foil- hatters obsessed with the “globohomo” boogeyman. Why throw your vote in with the fake CON pro-globalists when you can vote for a real Davos insider?

  6. This stuff will not work. I can’t comment too much because another post was snuffed. Likely due to naming companies, but nothing slanderous.

  7. Brookfield got the contract to relocate service members. If they want dirt on Brookfield, they just have to interview service members who got posted.

  8. Oh well.. Green energy is still intermittent, overly expensive and not able to power a modern nation.. Nuclear is a retrofit boondoggle that only rich areas can afford.. That leaves coal and natural gas..

Should I go down in the mine and huff some dust?.. Because the Libs got a business plan that pretends to save the world?.. And that’s a red flag because the world cant be saved.. Especially by liberals..

  9. Carney is announcing a different stolen conservative policy and Trudeau reversal every day. The message to the mindless mushy middle who determine election outcomes: you don’t need to vote conservative when you’ve got Carney (and most of you will never look into my past and discover written evidence of having a zealous authoritarian agenda). The media is certainly not going to do it either. The above message only works for the choir.

The Cons should try driving a wedge between the LPC and NDP voters who are otherwise voting LPC. Eg, “The NDP has carried water for the Trudeau Liberals as long as they responded with higher taxes and more regulations and now Carney has betrayed the working class and has eliminated the raise in capital gains taxes”. “A message from the friends of the working class.”

    1. I doubt that approach will work either. NDP voters would rather poor acid into their eyes than vote in such a way that might permit the Conservatives to win power. They’ll burn their own party to the ground first.

    2. Are lie-beral voters really that naive to think that Carnage will follow through on these stolen campaign promises from the cons?
If so, then we all are going to get what they voted for, I’m afraid to say…

      1. I remember talking to an idiot in 2015 who was voting libtard for tax cuts. I’m serious.

  10. The voice narrating the ad sounds familiar. Andrew Lawton? If so, he’s running for the Tories in a riding near London.

  11. This thread is retarded.
    I’ll pass on this party.
We are done, but vote PP to delay being done.
It may just buy time for a bigger, geopolitical move.

  12. I am thinking that Mr. Carney is probably about now realizing that he should not have entered the political ring.
By becoming a politician and now the un-elected Prime Minister of Canada, all of his private business dealings are fair game.
The more I read and research this dude, the more I realize just what a POS he really is.

    1. Yes, but you have a functioning brain. As Winston Churchill said “the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter’.

  13. The one thing that everyone, including Liberals, can agree on is that Carney is in a honeymoon period right now, and the sooner he can call an election, the better for him. As time goes by and people learn/remember more about him, his support will wane. The question is…by how much?

Here in Edmonton, Carney has been trotted around for the last few days in an Oilers jersey, etc., as they test the waters and try to determine if it is safe for him to run in a seat here. It would be risky, unless perhaps they cut a deal with the NDP to not run a candidate against him.

    1. Yeah, what an embarrassing photo op of Carney practicing with the Oilers. Missing a wide-open net from the slot! Quite literally “Net-Zero!”
He went on the ice as a player skating with goalie skates.
And I would guess they’re going to refer to this as “the Carney Curse,” because the Oilers not only lost to the Jets later that day, but I understand that the Oilers lost a couple of their star players due to injury in that game.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, because the source on this was rather sketchy.

  14. I for one am simply -fascinated- that #CarkMarney’s OFF-SHORE, unregulated insurance company is making bank off the sick coal miners in another country. The rich, getting richer on the backs of the poor, while p1ssing on them.

Yes please, I would like to learn more about #Cark-baby and his corrupt insurance company. I’d also very much like to hear about #Carky’s extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party, and the Eurotrash Greens.

Maybe keep it down to one minute per bite, boys. Attention spans are short these days. It’s an attack ad, not a legal argument.

  15. I don’t make a habit of saying this but

    Jesus.

That’s not going to fly. As per above comments, the typical Canajun has the attention span of a gnat. What happened to these gents is terrible, but to the uncaring leftist in Morontariowe, they only care about hockey, eh.

Find one or two wedge issues and HAMMER AWAY. And, don’t let the bastards change the subject. If they try, IGNORE them. Set the Agenda, Again and Again, and Again, ad nauseum.

It would be best to hammer away on the failings of the health system HERE, the MAID horror stories. Focus on the druggie tent cities and zombies staggering due to hard drug decrim. The CRIME. Stuff that Normie Canadian can relate to in his city, neighbourhood. All this has exploded in the last 10 years, and paint the Turd and Marx has each side of the same coin.

Fck, the Conservative marketing machine is stupid as a bag of hammers.

  16. I think the coal miner’s black lung insurance scandal is a lot more important than Marx Carney missing an open net on the hockey rink. I remember the media photo of PC Robert Stanfield dropping a football and thinking, “is this an issue”? “what does this tell me about Progressive Conservative values”?

Marx Carney running for election while lifting most of whatever the Conservatives have said they’ll do seems like … the #Libranos are broken, unable to float new ideas or even return to their pre-Trudeau ways. It’s difficult I imagine, knowing Carney was a close advisor to Trudeau and how to separate himself from those scandals, +80% of the current cabinet ministers were ministers with Trudeau.

And agree with The Phantom and DanBC. Attack ads should be 30 seconds of trash talk, or showing an image of scandal which people at work can snidely mention as being significant. I don’t want to have to explain an entire back story to support one bad image. There are 100’s of examples of poor #Librano ideas to choose from.

NOT that the coal miner’s plight is acceptable. It could easily be tightened up to 30 seconds by saying, “Brookfield earnings are up by this margin, and these are the coal miners with black lung who paid for it after their insurance was denied, and here is the Brookfield executive who made these decisions… and these are their yachts moored in Bermuda, where they are not subject to Canadian oversight… then close with an image of someone putting back a kilo of pasta in order to make their grocery bill… “

  17. A foreign country, an off shore business that has ties to Carney, and this is what the Conservative Party thinks is going to sway voters? Instead of addressing Trudeau’s NDA, his lack of training, his involvement and unstable relationships, his bi polar parent, his outbursts, and above all, the inherent nepotism that got him any notice in the first place, the Conservatives thought a vague, “he’s just not ready” was marketing genius.

The Conservative Party is part of the larger uni party and they play their role as they are told. Canadians need to wake up and realize they are being sold, one at a time, in pieces, and by lot, to foreign countries and will soon be unable to flee with anything more than the clothes on their backs.

Just a reminder of who they thought were real Conservatives before………….Charest, Scheer, O’Toole, McKay, Clark, Campbell, Brown, Ford……………………Jeez
