• Heathrow closed: London’s Heathrow Airport is completely shut down because of a power outage due to a large fire nearby, causing massive disruption at one of the world’s busiest travel hubs. The fire is now under control, but Heathrow’s backup power supply was also affected.

• Thousands impacted: Heathrow’s closure is expected to affect more than 1,300 flights. An airline analytics firm estimated that “upwards of 145,000” passengers could be impacted, and Heathrow is warning of significant disruption in the coming days. Trains around Heathrow have also been disrupted.

Of course: Heathrow had diesel generators for emergency back-up if the grid went down. Sadly they removed the back-up a few weeks ago in order to meet Green Energy targets.

  15. International Building Codes assign an “Importance Factor” for all buildings. The Importance Factor triggers a host of more restrictive building elements. Importance Factors are highest for: Hospitals, Emergency Services such as Fire Stations, Large Assembly Buildings such as Concert Halls, High Rise Buildings … and Mass Transit Facilities.

    One of the Fundamental requirements for High Importance Buildings is that they include Emergency Power Backup. Diesel Powered Generator Backup. And those systems must be tested (operated) and certified on a regular basis.

    So … has the UK Government CANCELLED the Building Code … because of Global Warming FRAUD? If they have … then they are deliberately putting lives at risk. Deliberately. They are placing the highest Importance Factor on Marxist FRAUD … not People.

  18. When I was young, environmentalists chained themselves to trees to save the planet (like Hans Grueber Gilbeault). Now they burn “biomass”. Trees are now “renewables”.

    1. Worse. They aren’t cutting English forests to feed their biomass incinerators … nope. They’re clear-cutting vast Canadian and US forests … chipping the trees … then shipping the chips across the Atlantic Ocean to offload and haul to their incinerators.

      Sounds “green” to me. Sounds “net zero” to me … as both those words in quotes don’t really mean anything anyway.

      1. I have a friend that works at a sawmill in northern BC and can confirm!
        NOTHING is wasted at the sawmills any more, they have a small sawdust burner to run the boilers for the plant, any waste above that is pelleted and shipped out for ‘biomass’ burning, mostly goes to the UK!

      2. You sound like you should be on Green Peace’s payroll. Such jargon as, “clearcutting vast forests”…. As Zon said, wood residue from sawmills or wood unsuitable for pulp and the much more valuable sawlogs is used for pellets. The idiocy of NA pellets to the UK is use of hydrocarbons in transporting low density fuel halfway across the planet to a facility next door to coal sources with 3 to 4 times the energy density.

Please don’t blame us, we are just ordinary people trying to live our lives, the same as you guys in Canada, but we are governed by an elite (and not just the politicians) who have their own agendas and don’t give a damn about ordinary people.No one voted for the green crap, mass immigration, explosion in the size of government, all the covid crap.
    We need people like Trump & Musk to break the system but unfortunately we don’t have them. Yet.
