  1. Sen. Kennedy has proposed a bill defunding the CPB and PBS.
    I hope it passes.
    Sen. Kennedy is based.

    1. PBS is long past the days of exquisite natural science and ‘Frontline’ type exposes of troubling contemporary and historical events. the one on ‘spies secrets and submarines’ a real eye opener.
but that was 15 godforsaken years ago. lot has changed, not for the better.
      cut them off Bobby Jr.

      1. Fwiw, I believe he was referring to Senator John Kennedy. No relation to RFK Jr.

  2. Hit them hard, no mercy.

I actually watch Gutfeld sometimes on Youtube. (Never the TV, I have no cable.) He has some funny bits, occasionally. That big guy on Gutfeld’s panel who wears his hat backwards is funnier, IMHO, but YYMV.

    1. @Phantom: The big guy is Tyrus! 🙂 I also like Kat Timpf but she’s on maternity leave.

I usually get annoyed quite fast by Cdn news (Global/CTV/CBC – they are all garbage=unwatchable for more than a few minutes) and when I can’t stand ’em anymore, I switch to FoxNews free app. I usually look for M-F clips from 2 shows: The Five and Gutfeld!

Yes, Greg’s show is the only one worth watching from all the night shows out there: to the point/real, good normal conversations (not forced&woke), interesting+diverse guests, funny rants+able to make fun of himself.

      1. DanC – Just so you know (not sure if you watch Gutfeld live), But Kat Timpf was diagnosed with cancer just 15 hours she gave birth.
Some real highs and unbelievable lows at the same time.

  3. “If you can blindfold them with dental floss, how can they get a driver’s license?”
    -Andrew Dice Clay.

    1. I watched that episode of Gutfeld when it originally aired. I laughed. TBH, it was a better show when Gutfeld was off on leave for a month and Kat and Tyrus did the hosting.

      1. You’re joking right? I love the regulars Kat and Tyrus … and find their commentary smart as hell … as in IQ you wouldn’t think they had. However … the show was shockingly lacking without Greg’s talent. Greg’s comedic timing is what sets him apart from ALL the other comedians. And he is so in-sync with his writers that the show was just stale without Greg as host.

Sorry. I like everyone on the show … but Greg’s talents are what makes that show successful.

        1. ” However … the show was shockingly lacking without Greg’s talent. Greg’s comedic timing is what sets him apart from ALL the other comedians.”

Yeah, as much as I like Tyrus and love Kat, neither of them could pull off a monologue…it was just awkward.

  4. “Constitutionally, I would defend your right. But…”
    There it is again.

From Gutfeld’s wikipedia page : I became a conservative by being around liberals, and I became a libertarian by being around conservatives. You realize that there’s something distinctly in common between the two groups, the left and the right; the worst part of each of them is the moralizing.
    He’s not wrong.

I’ll come out and say it: Asians are terrible drivers.

    1. From driving around Hogtown:

If you see some body doing something unbelievably stupid at a very low speed, like making a U-turn in the middle of Dundas St. during rush hour, that’s an off-the-boat Asian. And probably female. With glasses as thick as a Coke bottle. She will not understand why you’re upset.

If you see a guy doing something unbelievably stupid at a very high speed, like lane-hopping the 401 at 180K, that’s an Arab of some description, or possibly a Pakistani. That guy is why I won’t ride my motorcycle anywhere closer to Toronto than Burlington.

Doing 95K in the carpool lane, won’t move over and won’t speed up? That’s Karen, the middle-aged white woman from Oakville who’s dragging her @$$ on purpose.

    2. There is a saying from the 1970’s “How do you make a Chinese person blind? Put a windshield in front of them!”
There is a reason that there are no Chinese racing car drivers (perhaps my information is out-of-date?).
My sister always noted that little Asian women behind the wheel of big white SUV’s always froze when merging onto the Ring Road North from Victoria Avenue in Regina. I have noticed this phenomena as well.

          1. Japanese.
Please, do not ever confuse them with the damned CHY NA imports.
The Japanese are typically polite, humble, smart and good people.
Your off the boat CHY NA types are the opposite of all those qualities.
Rude. Lousy drivers. Butt in to the head of the line regularly. Never speak English. Arrogant and Racist. Etc. This country is flooded with them. Hongcouver.

    3. I took the screen name ‘Kenji’ … because growing up there was a pro-wrestler named Kinje Shibuya. To a 9yo suburban white boy … that was a funny name for a funny looking fat man in the fake wrestling ring. Funny enough that I remembered that name from 40 years prior.

Does that make me racist? Asking for some humorless octogenarian leftist NPR host …

      1. Kenji, I had wondered if you used his name. I used to watch him on TV, Saturday mornings, along with Don Leo Johnathon (Mormon Giant), Sweet Daddy Seekie (sic), Bull Dog Brower, etc. One of Kenji’s moves was the finger punch to the throat. That was a long time ago.

        1. Nice to know I’m not the only one who remembered Kinje. And ironically … when I had just learned of the Japanese pro wrestler … the SF Giants imported a new relief pitcher from japan … Masanori Murakami

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masanori_Murakami

He was the FIRST Japanese player in MLB … and just happened to live down the street from me in Santa Clara. That made him a UUuge celebrity among the 9yo set … and we’d go down to his house hoping to get a glimpse. On one visit, he signed autographs in his driveway. No English skills … but a hell of a nice person.

Perhaps that’s when I learned of … and began to appreciate Japanese culture. Anyway … Kenji I am …

        2. Don Leo Jonathan and Gene Kiniski, for me (Eric Frolich and Dean Higuchi, too). All Star Wrestling in Vancouver in the 70’s….such fun.

    4. In all humor there is truth.
Which is also why those other shows fail, no truth in them.

  5. Greg is talking but I can’t hear him! No no no no no no no.
NPR is a horrible outlet; the natural refuge of Minnesota liberals who live in a cocoon, and can only hear that which does not offend their sensitive, progressive ears. That Garrison Keillor was for decades allowed to insult Norwegian Bachelor farmers on its airwaves only proves how stupid they are. That they believe journalists should not provide a “platform” to a comedian simply confirms it.

  6. Oh c’mon where’s your sense of haha. Everybody lampoons politicians. SNL does a weekly skit on ‘he who must not be critic’d.

    1. That’s Gutfeld’s point. The leftist media hate Trump. The Trump sketches on SNL are the sort of stuff only a leftist media hack would ever find funny.

Gutfeld goes after the leftist know-it-alls in the media (and other institutions) who try to make people believe what normal people know isn’t so. Gutfeld males normal people cry with laughter. That’s why his show is so popular. If you don’t find him funny, it’s probably because you don’t actually have a sense of humour.

  7. I watch Gutfield occasionally….I used to like him.
Now I love him for the way he played that Simon guy.
    Classic!!!

  8. This guy Simon will never understand that, as Gutfeld says, punching left IS punching up.

Donald Trump holding office for the next four years does not change the fact that the dominant narrative in all media, our school systems, all levels of government and even big business is Left wing.

  9. The comments on the lame apology in X are hilarious. Typical lefties who want to remain in their media bubble and excoruating anyone who doesn’t. And the pathetic NPR guy caves in to them.
