  1. So we can expect the Liberals to keep provoking President Trump until Carney wins the next election. Yippee!

      1. What you libtards lack for in intelligence you more than make up for in arrogance.

    1. Pollievre is doing his best to tap into the Canadian TDS.
He accused Trump of stabbing us in the back.
      Out of touch.
      Trying to please the MSM.
      He’s done.

  2. It used to be that we had significant revenue from our natural resources.
Now the climate agenda has frozen the industry and no new revenue has been available to contribute to productivity growth.
And to make things worth, the government has been spending on green projects that suck up growth revenue without producing an investment grade offsetting new revenue.
    Bad Liberals.
    Very bad Liberals.

    1. bla bla blaaaaaaaaaaa.
any expliquez why they keep winnig elections?
A: because CanaDUHians WANT our social order and economy WRECKED

  3. I do not think the tariffs will distract from the Liberal’s poor economic record — I think it makes their incompetence more obvious.

    1. unfortunately the average Canadian voter is not very bright, as evidenced by Justin getting elected three times

      1. @wally

        100%

What the dimwitted Canadian population fails to do is look at it from Trumps POV.

Trump see’s a totalitarian cultural Marxist state on his Northern boarder.

One that surpresses free speach and is willing to freeze bank accounts and arrest people during peacefull protests.

He’s see’s a country buying into EU globalist ambitions while simultaneously selling off assets to China.

JD Vances speeches to the UN and UK governments highlighted this.

        1. Bingo. There’s a real estate principal that goes like this: your property’s value is determined by your shittiest neighbour. Here’s Trump trying to fix his place up and his two closest neighbours denigrate him and refuse to clean up their junkyards.

      2. easy to say but so very sadly all TRUE CanaDUHians ADORE THE TURDEAU
and DEMAND his style incompetence and corruption because liberal.

  4. Lecturing Liberal and NDP voters will not help when their emotions are so important to them. Even reasoning with them will have at best short term results. The illusion of false hope is so tempting. ‘Tough Love’ may have to be introduced. Everybody gets to suffer then.

  5. I hope the liberal brain trust understands that when Trump stressed that fentanyl is an important issue they stop responding with
“But we are less than 1% of the problem”
Won’t be seen as a legitimate argument.
Because if as contended, it’s so much less of a problem for the Trudeau government than it should take 1% effort to eliminate it.
That will be Trumps position when he says why the tariff will remain in place.

Wouldn’t mind seeing that discussion live on air.

  6. Just LISTEN to what trump has been saying. He has mentioned
    US banks have no access
    Supply management
    Digital services tax
JD Vance in munich about free speech laws. No mention of Canada but let’s not be naive.
Canada cannot win a trade war with the US. all of the powers in Ottawa
know exactly what is happening but nothing will change till we have an election.
The liberals need the east to get close, and will say anything, do anything to recover.
If we have an east west split that is even more than what we have seen in the past, the country will have some serious unity issues

    1. When Trump started mentioning tariffs during the election campaign you can bet good money that someone in the PMO said

“Now there’s a crisis we can’t let go to waste”

  7. The only party that doesn’t want to be a Chinese vassal state is the PPC.

  8. Sooner the better.
If Canadian Voters,of the Urban and Eastern persuasion are as stupid and emotional as I believe, the sooner they elect Marx Carnage their leader, the better.
I maintain we ‘of the West, have nothing in common with Eastern Canada.
That the relationship is one sided ,abusive and destructive.
Crab Bucket Can Ahh Duh has no place for innovation, hard work and a future for our children.
We are and will remain tax slaves to The State of Thuggery, regardless of who holds power in Ottawa.
If,after Dread Covid Theatre, you still believe the central myths of Can Ahh Duh..you are beyond help.
We must break our affairs away from the corrupt and destructive strutting pigeons .
Emoting “Orange Man Bad” accomplishes nothing.
Lying about “correcting” the very problems you have created, seems to sell in the East.
And stealing from Western Tax Payers to finance an unsustainable level of welfare spending is not working.
This Tariff war will be short lived.
I hope Canadians enjoy tariffs on taxes and taxes on tariffs,it is the Ottawa Way.
And if you go to Ottawa and dare to honk a horn,to get their attention, they will imprison you.
For “Shoot the messenger” has always been the tyrants path.
    The O.P.M has run out.
Other Peoples Money and that ability of the mob to vote themselves the right to steal other peoples money, has always been the reason Democracy becomes Kleptocracy.
Crack Addicts are paragons of virtue, compared to O.P.M dependents.
    WEXIT.

  9. The Liberals and Democrats are content to use an issue to retain power, “Trump is using tariffs to punish us, so we’ll impose counter-tariffs to further punish us, but in the long run we’ll beat Trump at his own game.” Where-as Trump has created an issue to solve a problem. To encapsulate lets us use this as an example:
Canada produces a bolt that costs $1.00 (CDN) to make and exports it to America. When converted to the American dollar, the cost is $0.69 (US). Reversing the process, a bolt that costs $1.00 (US) when transported across the border now sells for $1.44 (CDN). So Trump engages a 25% tariff on the bolt, $0.69 x (25%) .25 = $0.17, the bolt now costs Americans $0.86 to purchase. Trudeau imposes a countervailing tariff of 25% and the same bolt made in America but imported into Canada now will cost $1.44 x (25%) .25 = $0.36, total $1. 80 (CDN). So can we see where this is going? Let us now talk about lettuce and how the tariffs will impact the fresh fruit and vegetables….., oh wait we can’t do that because we don’t grow any fresh fruit and vegetables during the months of November to April. So we can’t compare tariff costs there, we’ll just have to suck it up and pay the increase prices unless Trump introduces reverse tariffs and tariffs his own exports and then we’re all truly screwed.

    1. But, but, but … as some pro-endlessUkrainewar-serial poster lectures me that I don’t know the difference between exchange rates and tariff rates. Hahahaha ha ha ha ha …

I hope they/them keep telling themselves that …

PS … and just think of the increase in colon cancer in Canada when your people boycott American produce.

  10. The Labor Force stat is just Smooth Brains working for Uber etc.
The GDP growth is 4 million immigrants and doesn’t reflect inflation.
If you see blue skies, you’re probably a Stamp Licker who works for one of the levels of government.

  11. Canada is tanking.. Look no further than our pot holed roads and bus stops full of migrants..

  12. Richard Diaz nails it!
What I’ve been saying from the very beginning is that the turd WANTS this trade war, and Diaz perfectly explains the reason why.
