    Carney is intelligent, dumbing it down to relate to liberal majority. Feel as though all of this is beneath him, no doubt in my mind he would be more efficient pushing his ideologies. His book clearly gives evidence of intention.

    Trudeau left clues before he was elected. put them into practice and even during a totally mismanaged pandemic received a minority , keep alive by just another shallow husk of a human being.
    One wonders if the populace lost their principles due to their empty leaders , or our leaders didn’t need principles because of the number of empty people that voted.
    One thing, there is a clue in their disdain for Trump , it’s the same sort of disdain they have for you.
    Not a care, not a worry, nothing but emptiness and contempt in their hearts ……..
    Maybe I’m wrong but it makes sense to me.

  8. I held my nose and continued thru a number of the following posts (I need a shower after all that cr@p) and Carney said he was a wartime PM, not one for peace time. Someone in the bar crowd compared Carney to Churchill. There was cheering and laughter and clapping. That is what the swamp Libs believe. Carney is brilliant and will solve all the problems…after he is erected to Office of PM.

    The blindness, willful or calculated, is stupifying. Their hope is genuine, their discernment between good and evil is dismal.

    Thanks to SDA, I’m watching Jordan Peterson’s interview with Ezra Levant right now.

    By belittling Trudeau, Americans might find it amusing and of course it is well deserved, but Trump has met with all of Canada’s provincial premiers, I believe, and hasn’t said much about that. The MAGA movement folks might believe anything Trump says is true, but Trump still needs to convince the rest of the Right and Center and that’s a lot of people about his concerns with Canada and I hope he does. That means facts – not rhetoric.

    The Democrats love what is coming across the borders, illegal immigrants become voting ballots and drugs that mostly kill people in Fly Over Country. That means getting things done through Congress is very time consuming and it often fails with RINO’s joining Democrats, so Trump can’t do that.

    So, Trump uses the tools he has and one of them is tariffs. That is a very blunt instrument but because the Democrats don’t give a damn about America and many frankly hate it, Trump has to use what he has available.

    My 2 cents

    1. If you’re referring to, what was it, two weeks ago, when all the premiers showed up at the White House, then no, Trump didn’t meet with them. Provincial premiers don’t get to show up at the WH and demand or expect an audience with the president. They got a couple of advisors. It’d be no more appropriate for premiers to meet with the president than it would be for governors to meet with the prime minister. It’s not the role of premiers nor governors to carry out international diplomacy.

      That said, he’s spoken with Smith at least once at Mar-a-Lago, I think.

  13. I have not followed this guy very much, but it seems he is the stereotypical illustration for the definition of “empty suit.” One should ask what dreck they graduate from Oxford colleges. This would include the UK politicians responsible for the C0vid fiasco in that country. They all seem to be placed there.

    1. Many Oxford graduates end up in ministries such as that of Silly Walks or ones requiring underwear to be worn on the outside.

    1. I’m now openly cheering for it. Even if Alberta doesn’t seperate on its own it will probably be taken by the US when the dismantling of the wreckage starts. I’m now convinced a CPC win would just move the inevitable crash down the road another mile or two.

    What does that even mean? If they said ‘the North American supply chain” I could understand the slip. But Canada exports total 0.8% of American semiconductor imports.
