  1. So let me get this straight: prorogation simply means that the government can pursue its ideological agenda and execute its whims without any of the bother of parliamentary scrutiny or oversight by the elected representatives of Canada?

We knew Trudeau admired China’s “basic dictatorship”, and I guess he’s found a way to bring it home. But yeah, sure , “buy Canadian” and Trump’s a meanie. JFC.

    1. Yes, Trodwell, you got that straight. They found the way to turn it all around on a thin canadian dime.
An aside…that map of N. BC was where I and our crew planted millions of trees back in the 70s.
More trees than the Turd planted, for sure.
Plus, the Turd wouldn’t have survived the places us tree planters drank on the off days, as we needed to be a full crew so as not to get beaten by the loggers.
PS… Guilbitch needs a serious tuning up

  2. What’s the Trudeau Administration’s response on Trump meeting with India’s Prime Minister (Modi) today?

  3. Yes, but Canada will be a world leader in sustainable energy and high paying green jobs o’plenty will be available to out of work roughnecks and pipe fitters. This must be true because Justy and Chrysta said so! This federal government is living in dreamland. And to think this former eco terrorist is now the minister in charge of things. Good grief. In the words of Killary Klinton, “can’t we just drone him?”

  4. The company notified the government on Dec 3, 2024 that they had cancelled the project.

    a) Why the government took two months to cancel the impact assessment, is due to incompetence.

    b) the Liberals put so many roadblocks in the way of the project, going back to 2016, that cancellation was a foregone conclusion.

    c) I leave it to the reader to speculate who funded the Indigenous and environmentalist opposition to the project and the northern gateway pipeline.

  5. You could have the most conservative pro-business government ever, and it would not matter one iota.

Canada is chock full of sniveling communist weakling peasants. They are loyal to the Crown as the great benefactor. Canada does not elect its leaders. It elects MP underlings who then elect leaders who may or may not be appointed by a retarded man-boy King. Canada is and has always been a monarchy, fully owned by the Windsor family of Great Britain. Canadians are fully owned Subjects of the Crown and have no inalienable Rights.

The only true solution is an armed revolution with a total breakup of Canada, and Quebec, and its reconstitution as a democratically controlled Representative Republic.

    1. Something needs to be done but Canadians on the whole are cowards. The generation that fought in WW2 are gone.

  6. There’s a First Nation community at Haisla BC with Chief Crystal Smith, which may have an opinion on the federal gov’t preventing them from succeeding … directly in the same water as Kitimat.

I had understood the First Nation had been supportive of this, the other elected chiefs and bands on this pipeline route did as well, while those hereditary chiefs had opposed. The hereditary chiefs may have been funded by “outside money” …

  7. “There’s a monument that stands at the Alamo, it’s there not because they won…but because they fought.”
Western Canada needs its freedom. Let’s get on with it rather than live on our knees.
    We can win.

  8. The Straw that broke the Camel’s back! This will be necessary to take action ! Canada is finished!

  9. Leverage. It’s nice to see the Faeiries all working together to defeat the behemoth to the south.

  10. Is this the new Team Canada approach the Liberals/NDP promised? Or was that just for booing little girls singing the USA national anthem?
