The organized vehicle-theft industry has a lot of friends in Trudeau’s government. Money and power count for a lot. Crime victims, not so much.
It’s probably racist to even report your vehicle has been stolen, or your business has been robbed. Lately in my area – KW – we’ve had several jewelry store smash and grabs, the perps appear to be young offenders organized in gangs, obviously they won’t be punished even if caught.

My friend had both her arms broken trying to grab the gun from one of the two black guys in an Etobicoke grocery store mall that car jacked her last fall in broad daylight.

On January 31, 2025, a second criminal code search warrant was executed at a residence in Brampton where Haider Ameer Khan, (26) of Brampton was arrested.
As a result of the investigation Khan has been charged with the following offences:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 (3 counts)
Fail to Comply – Being on a Release Order (2 Counts)

For every car to be exported from Canada require a declaration. Charge $500 each to financially support the system. Compare that declaration with motor vehicle registrations. Reconcile the possible legitimacy of each transaction. X-Ray every container entering each port for cars. Examine each car for integrity of identification. Require that each declaration be purchased in person accompanied by a photo and thumbprint. Penalty for not complying to be $100,000 or forfeiture of the vehicle, whichever is less. That would do it.

Installed an immobilizer, it won’t go anywhere without the code. Provided remotes disabled. No code, no go.
Sent the insurance the immobilizer certificates, just a thank you back.
