1. Considering how the Chinese seem to be able to “hack” into our “secure” servers every now and then, maybe it’s not such a bad idea. For the sake of transparency, I’m hoping my records are down there.

   1. Hope in one hand…. There are several hundred thousand of us vets who have to prove who we are because the government lost our records in a “fire”. There’s actually four years missing from my ‘214…just transfer dates.

2. There’s a special room there for birth certificates of people who’ve infiltrated higher echelons of US governance and where paperwork sometimes disappears like so many law bar memberships 😉

6. Is there really any doubt they do this so that these records can’t be accessed by a bunch of legit auditors? I mean who really knows how many people are getting “pensions” who probably never even worked for the federal government?

   I also have another theory. Remember how Christopher Wray revealed in an interview on his way out the door that the Chinese had allegedly hacked the treasury department? I mean how convenient, right? Is this the real story or maybe did the feds themselves delete/bleach bit on their way out the door all types of incriminating evidence detailing all the financial shenanigans the Democrats have engaged in the last half century and are now insinuating that the Chicoms allegedly stole or deleted all this stuff? Please.

7. Canadians shouldn’t feel too smug.

   I landed in Canada as a twelve year old in 1952. I became a citizen in 1959 and have had Canadian passports ever since. Paid income tax for over forty years. When I filed for CPP, the request was denied until I could prove that I actually landed in Canada!

   Some weeks later the appropriate document was found in a cardboad box in Gander, Newfoundland. Whew!

   1. I’ve been waiting almost three years for my Canada Pension.

      They keep losing my paperwork. Must be sitting in some bureaucrat’s basement?

   1. That way they can keep collecting benefits, and stay eligible to vote.

      Musk posted that some Social Security recipients are 150 years old.

      Scott Adams keeps pointing out that most government systems are deliberately designed to be nearly impossible to audit. He says that when nearly every other system has failed, one has to be a moron to believe that the opaque election system is on the level.

11. Wonder how often they get requests for retirement paperwork for some federal employee who died 50 years ago? Makes me wonder, how far back do they actually store – a decade or less or do they have every retirement application from every single employee who could retire for the entire duration of federal retirement?

    I have been claiming a simple, shorthand, description of what has been happening to America and all the Western Nations for 50 years … “We are being LOOTED, by leftist termites trying to eat away the financial underpinnings of capitalist nations”.

    The most Amazing thing about Musk’s presentation yesterday is the DOGE-clock graphic he put up for everyone to see how much money they’ve saved the American taxpayer thus far. In that graphic … he showed the percentage of Deep State audits completed thus far. That number was 1.9% !!!! DOGE has only made it through less than 2% of America’s $$$ bleed. He’s only stopped 1.9% of America’s LOOTING! Yeah … Musk and his team of Big Balz will eventually SAVE America $1 T/year … just in waste and fraud.
