  1. The Canadian Government is in bed with China is news? Bureaucrats and civil servants are all compromised. The senior bureaucrats know it. The lower levels and front line staff have yet to figure it out.

  2. It’s becoming apparent that Canadians, much like the Brits, are uniquely unqualified for, and incapable of, running an actual country. And you wonder why we Americans make fun of you…

    1. Never wondered that once tbh.
You just had four years of Biden so don’t jerk yourself off too hard.
      Have a great day.

    1. DJI makes the most popular drones in the US, and they all communication with CCP servers. Not surprising since every company in the CCP is partially owned by the CCP through it’s “workers collectives”

    2. “Will Trump stop this?”

He’s already trying to get what he can before the Chinese get it all.

        1. Like Greenland he wasn’t made aware that Canada was for sale to the highest bidder back then.

          Now he knows.

        2. Trump did stop the importation of Chinese built electrical transformers which had Chinese built spyware built in, and the Biden Admin. reversed that… it’s a small example, but the entire electrical grid is thought to be reporting info back to the ChiComs while Biden doesn’t want anyone looking at his criminal son Hunter’s past with underage Chinese hookers.

I don’t know why else the compromised Pres. Biden would do this in his term.

    3. Hopefully not, it’s really not his business. Given his overtures to Tik Tok there’s some reason for hope.

  3. People generally do not take the spying by China seriously at all. Years ago, I remember walking through Best Buy and seeing Lenovo notebook computers prominently displayed. I pointed out they had Chinese Spyware on them. I was mocked. About 3 years later, the US government told their employees to get rid of them…. because of spyware. Just assume all Chinese electronics have embedded Spyware.

  4. Liberal racist Party gets kickbacks from the communist party of china of course, but have the communist capitalists cornered the market on drones?

I dunno, but it sounds like every frickin’ drone out there has china parts!

  5. Small outfits:
Can de-Google entire OSs, phones and so on.
    The US gov’t:
    Can’t de-China a drone app or a laptop.

Also, if China is installing spyware on new computers running Windows, then Microsoft is in cahoots with them.

Also, can’t point to any tests from a randomly selected drone or laptop where they monitor the data stream and look for signs that its being sent, well, anywhere.
Look around, you’ll see lots of accusations and zero actual evidence.

  6. Well … what are ya gonna do when Congress cancels TikTok? Fly ChiCom drones outside your daughter’s bedroom window …

  7. Listening to folk who have never used software like wireshark, never decoded the data between, say, a keyboard and a computer, a drill battery and a charger, a drone and a controller, is like listening to a Democrat wax poetic about the evils of fully-semi-auto 100 round mag-clips being the biggest killers of children.
Its a parade of weaponized ignorance.

    1. If you could decode data payloads concealed in, say, DNSSEC packets you’d have better things to do than post on a blog. Your Stoll’s Syndrome is showing.

  8. Trudeau telling the Arse EMP to ‘poke him in the eye with a sharp stick!’ Commies naturally get bolder as they become more desperate, but this is pathetic. Also; “purchased without a call for tenders” , says to me the order came down straight from the CCP, who actually runs Ott-Awa. According to congress.gov, “This Act may be cited as the Countering CCP Drones Act”. This is how Trudeau thinks he’ll negotiate a hard bargain with Trump. What a fag.

  9. Canada sold out to the chicoms decades ago and when T1 and Jacques Hebert toured Red China in 1960 the die was cast. Trudeau, Mo Strong Chretien all traitors and thieves. There are many honourable mentions Jean Charest and Bob Rae come to mind. Pierre Trudeau’s association with the chicoms was so egregious he was deemed a security risk by the Americans and was barred entry to the US for many years.

    Traitorous Bastards every one

  10. Heh…every Chinese company spies on EVERY other country. It’s written into their National Intelligence Laws. Any Chinese Telecommunications company that operates internationally automatically provides information to the Little Red Book crew. Nearly 100 Chinese conglomerates are openly overseen by the SASAC (State Council Central Government).

  11. BTW, those pesky drones that were up and down the US East and West coast. There’s another explanation that no one seems to be talking about. Holograms. Apparently, there’s been some serious efforts to push the envelope on 3D Holograms and improve their clarity (right down to perceived blinking lights).

Such Holograms would not conform to laws of animate object physics. They make no noise, pop up without fanfare, and wouldn’t be seen on radar. Sound familiar? Just saying. ;D

    1. You do know how holograms work?
The light has to pass through a holographic plate before entering your eyes.
That means that somewhere between your eyes and the image, you have a film that has the holographic interference pattern on it.
You can’t just project them into the air like R2D2 did in Star Wars.

Its like people here think that holograms and telecom protocols are some kind of indecipherable magic with evil wizards running the show, instead of actual physical things that people can build, reverse engineer and understand. You people are like Saudi Arabians blaming djinn for stuff.
      Its freakin’ unreal.

      1. There have been some remarkable advancements in holograms (even for public consumption). I’d assume that if it were a focus, the advancements in the covert research would be much more robust. I’d refer you to Optical Trap Displays to start. What has been accomplished beyond that using lasers (a primary focus of the DOD currently) is anyone’s guess.

        1. Sure. Just posit magical ultra-top-secret-covert CIA tech, in other words, djinn.
May as well go with mind-control rays.
Optical trap displays still need a laser-suspended particle for you to look at, like holograms need a film to look through, many many of them if you want lots of people to see the same thing, and you can’t laser-suspend a particle outside, in the weather.

          1. It’s a good thing there’s certainly never anything suspended in the air outside.

            You know, like water vapour.

  12. Politician: “China is spying on you. We need to ban stuff!!”
Normal person : “Do you have any evidence that the items you wish to ban are sending any sensitive information?”
Moron: “China bad. Ban stuff good.”

Stick a fork in us, we’re done.

  13. But we gave them Dr. Bethune, so Canada has their respect and admiration for all time, don’t we?

  14. In a year or two from now, I won’t be surprised to read of the unionised RCMP having had kickbacks from their Chinese masters with this contract. It’ll likely be on X/Twitter as the MSM in Canada won’t report if it’s too embarrassing to their benefactors. (both sides of this equation are the benefactors, it’s the citizenry at large who are not…)

  15. Both Saskatchewan and Alberta are expanding their provincial police programs. Working toward the elimination of the rcmp. It can’t happen quick enough.
