1. I see Leslie’s got someone to put her lipstick on symmetrically again. Good for her.

2. On tariffs, Dimon says “China does this already”. Stahl responds with “What, threats?” to which Dimon interrupts her with “no … tariffs” and Stahl then says “oh, of course” as though everybody knows China already places tariffs on imports. She can sense her point (Trump is being reckless with tariffs) is slipping away as Dimon reminds her that all countries have the right to impose tariffs. Dimon is ten times smarter than Stahl, but Stahl is five times dumber than a post.

3. I watched some of this yesterday morning on “Sunday Morning”, only because I wanted to hear him talk about JP Morgan’s new 3B tower in Manhattan. Dimon seems like a decent guy and I’m glad he didn’t take the bait. Regarding Stahl, I am so sick of 60 Minutes and their centuries-old lib correspondents that just refuse to ever retire. Make room for under-80yo crowd please!

   1. Once in a while my former business partner and good friend — who is as conservative/libertarian as anyone I know — will suggest a 60 Minutes episode. I tell him that I’ve boycotted it for decades and don’t care how allegedly brilliant the episode is, I ain’t watching. When I boycott, I BOYCOTT.

4. Two things that clearly went over Stahl’s head. First he told her to read a book (slap). Then he told her that things that were tried in the past didn’t work so he hopes “we” (America) can fix them “this time” (with Trump in power).

5. Yeah, Leslie, nobody who shops for their own groceries believes those inflation numbers, and all of the jobs have been revised away, except for the ones that went to migrants. Turns out that practically all of the few jobs Biden created went to migrants. But you do you.

   Trump has re-inherited a country enthralled by debt and an electorate spellbound by handouts.
   I don’t know whether these two discussed this before or after this clip, but its the eating disorder elephant with the shits in the room.
   Obviously the Turdhole Dominion and a lot of nations have the same shitshow.

   1. It would be interesting to back out the government debt from actual GDP growth and see if we aren’t in a recession – have been since about 2019.

13. I give Dimon some real credit for the self-awareness that Leslie Stahl lacks. The self-awareness that MOST of the people in this nation don’t live the privileged lives of multimillionaire TV Hosts or Major CEO’s. Stahl utterly lacks that self-awareness as she spouts her leftist TDS tripe. She truly lacks any compassion whatsoever for the policies that may have made the stock market zoom for the well-to-do (due to massive government spending) … but crushed MOST people under zooming inflation.

    2. And, the stock market increases are 90% due to money losing value. Publicly traded firms gained very little and in reality most lost value despite the increased share prices.
