A telecommunications cable was reportedly left damaged near Yehliu, New Taipei City on Friday, just days after Russian vessels were accused of deliberately cutting wires in the Baltic Sea.”

    1. If there is a legal argument against proroguing I’d like to hear how it doesn’t justify abolishing the federal power of the crown altogether.
The point is that everytime this debate comes out on one of the features of a constitutional monarchy nobody wants to address the 500 lbs gorilla in the corner that was the premise of the BNA from the beginning.
That the laurentian Elite were desperate to keep the US from annexing the western and northern territories by negotiating directly with the UK.

      1. The UK supreme court ruled 11-0 in 2019 that the prorogation was unlawful and of no effect for the reason “that a decision to prorogue (or advise the monarch to prorogue) will be unlawful if the prorogation has the effect of frustrating or preventing, without reasonable justification, the ability of Parliament to carry out its constitutional functions as a legislature and as the body responsible for the supervision of the executive.”

Boris wasn’t granted the right to suspend Parliament for 5 weeks. So, is giving Trudeau’s Libs 10 weeks to hold a leadership convention “reasonable justification” to “frustrate and prevent” Parliament from carrying “out its constitutional functions as a legislature and as the body responsible for the supervision of the executive”?

    1. I find it fascinating that alcohol is getting ripped for causing cancer and there is nothing on pot, hard drugs, prescription or recreational, very little on vaping etc.

Phillip Morris has come out with a new nicotine delivery product called ZYN which allows you to remain addicted to nicotine but with less side effects. Brilliant! Probably cures cancer.
