The Long Good Riddance

Update: No matter how much you hate him, it’s not enough.

Vassy says Trudeau stepping down as Liberal Leader at 10:45. Will remain as PM.

GG has been asked to prorogue House until late March. (Gives House enough time to pass Supply Bill & ensure that govt doesn’t run out of money before April 1).

  1. Some important legislation is now dead and that’s a good thing. Nice to see the dairy industry get kicked in the balls with the stunt they tried to pull. They had it coming and when the new NAFTA talks start Trump is going to deliver another steel toed groin kick.

The Bong said he had to take the high jump because of internal party bickering. Blame the Party – that’s his style. His 9 years of directionless incomplete governing caught up to him.

    1. It wasn’t directionless at all – his purpose was to destroy the country, and he’s damn near succeeded. From that perspective he’s done a good job.

  2. I wish to thank the USA electorate for tossing the pinko’s out in November, and for electing Donald Trump who fired both Freeland and Trudeau on behalf of Canadians, unable to because of China. It’s your move Xi.

  3. I feel so bad for Justin. He just spent weeks picking out new socks for the G7 Summit this summer and won’t get a chance to show them off! 🙁

  4. Mabe we get lucky and TurD’Ho does a biden revenge tour, and tanks the party for good, because he DIDN’T decide to step down, he was told to!

    1. Utter nonsense. The GG does not have the prerogative to refuse a request for prorogation from the PM. The NP has fallen off.
