I have come across the same information from other sources as well. It is also good to remember that eugenics and euthanasia was “popular” at a certain point in the 20th century.

  8. It is sad that there is not anyone on the ‘right’ who can bring some objectivity to this issue which affects our most vulnerable. Fortunately, I work in Human Resources and have the privilege of expediting MAiD amongst the staff. For those left behind, I have found that throwing a party with a gift exchange is the best way to let coworkers know that ‘so and so’ has walked the plank, so to speak. The paperwork is in order, the signatures fresh, and nobody calls the doctor who signed off. Morale, efficiency, and, productivity have all improved. Perhaps you should take off your ideological blinkers and look around for others who need and deserve MAiD. Make a list. Leave it for Santa to show you care. I care.

  16. “We had a good friend in Edmunton” funny how these stories start out the same, he had cancer, sure a weird one, but all they ever did was cut out the bad, no chemo treatments ever! Wow, saving money here! Then he cut his hand bad on a fence, and all they said about that was, well you waited too long, the only thing we can do is stitch it up! Lost use of course…but wow they saved more money!! They had him on a do not save list (unknown to him of course), and this was years ago before the Doctor Death people….this is an underlying corruption of government run health care…means everything has a bottom dollar….and the doctors are well indoctrinated! (probably in med school!)
