in grade 5 l was bored out of my ever loving mind with the slow pace of things, so much so l kind of shut down and the frustrated male hating spinster Stevenson threatened “for 2 pins” to flunk me.
in grade 9 we did an IQ test l walked in on the guidance counsellor to review my result, big smile on her face, quote “significantly above average analytical skills”.
high school was equally boring until grade 11 l decided to impress the really hot looking rookie math teacher, my mark went from mid 50s to mid 80s in the first term.
it was calculus. l was her hero because l *understood* where the difficulty and confusion lay and could explain things ‘in layman’s terms’ to the rest of the class.
my analytical skills kicked in BIG TIME when l took a business course at a technical school in info tech. it was a honeywell 120. kinda like this one:

which led to a BSc comp sci 15 years later.
l was gifted and ignored and shoved in with the slow learners then too, sooooo things havent changed in 60 years, or in this case *gone back* 60 years.

actually l had a dozen sessions with a communications consultant/psychologist up to early spring this year iirc, $150 a pop and WELL WORTH IT. gave me tremendous insight and, glory be, we BOTH agreed on and utilize my strategy (in my retirement) to, key word, *disengage*. iow, deal exclusively with my inner circle of friends and service providers (the current vet clinic all run by women the BEST lve ever found) and ‘outside’ only when necessary.

l dont even communicate with the siblings,2 of them being my formative years unapologetic bullies, the other a smarmy west coast liberal.
I had the opposite experience. In the early ’50’s I skipped grade 2. When they next wanted me to skip grade 4, my dad said “no” as it would have made me 2 years younger than my peers. I remained a bored student.
I was bored in school too. Fortunately for my daughter (born in 1990), she was able to go into the International Baccalaureate Program which was developed in 1980 (I graduated high school in 1970). She did a Maths and Sciences certificate and did senior matriculation in Social Studies and English. She is now 35 and a computer programmer – doing very well, being introduced to entry level management projects at her company.
I bet there are many people (especially boys/young men) who are “bored to death” waiting for the others to catch up. What a waste of brain power!
If they keep this up, our dear leader, the Turd, will be able to find a degree he can obtain.

Many degrees and spots on the honour roll are recognized to be useless today, or even indicative of a trouble maker. Small businesses can’t afford to have their kind around and increasingly large companies and corporations can’t either. So let the universities and colleges make up their race-based honour rolls, the normies are finding a workaround.

My youngest son, the math wiz. … was bored to tears in our TOP elementary school here in the successful suburbs. We tried in vain to get him into the GATE program (gifted and talented education). But the GATEkeepers were all womyn … who put virtually ALL their stock in how VERBAL kids need to be for GATE. That’s not the way my kid was wired. He has a math mind, and was a kid of few words … but understood far more than his so-called teacher/GATEkeepers could discern. So they denied him admittance into GATE.
He graduated from UCLA with a Math degree. Shows you what womyn teachers know about intelligence.
