Trump’s Resounding Victory Has Broken Robert Reich’s Brain

Tears are flowin’ over at Robert Reich’s home:

The media has it all wrong about Trump’s picks for his administration. The conventional view is they’re “Trump loyalists” whom Trump “recruited”.

Rubbish.

First, they’re not loyalists; they’re subservient hacks.

There’s a crucial difference.

All politicians want their underlings to be loyal, but Trump wants them to be more loyal to him than to the nation, and he demands total subservience without regard to right or wrong.

Styx weighs in.

    1. You should have offered a warning about her appearance! She should put down the triple serving of Christmas Pudding … at every meal, 365 days per year!

  1. Another bedwetter whom I’ve never heard of. And I won’t be doing a search to find out who he is.

    1. He was Bubba’s Labour ‘Czar’ in the 90s. He has Little Man syndrome too.
So yes, he’s a commie dwarf.

    2. He is Robert Reich and he is a very bitter man. Likely the main cause of his misery is his irrelevance. He spews bile that only other bitter people would bother to read.

He is at the end of his career and has no idea what to do once he slipped on that final banana peel … retirement.

    3. He’s told some needed truth about banks, at a time when Christians who mentioned the same facts were being called antisemitic conspiracy theorists…but he *is* a loyal Democrat who gnashes his teeth over every reminder of his party’s losses.

Thinking the current Team Trump are loyal followers? Shows how badly emotions can distort perception.

      1. Reich is a malignant midget. His brain has broken at least a couple of times; not just the blatant case of TDS but also Rush making fun of him repeatedly. And as others have noted, becoming irrelevant also seems to have hit him hard. Reich is one of those people who sees himself as Very Very Important. So no one paying any attention to him just totally fries his brain.

  2. Once again, 1,000 millimeter Reich proves he’s insane and that anyone pays him any heed is a fool or just desperate for attention.

  3. I could NOT get thru 1/2 that article….

But, thank you for using the archive.ph so they don’t get that click cash.

  4. That’s not the only brain he broke – Can’t confirm but it’s one of those things you hope is true. Alberta’s Danielle Smith is invited to the inaugural ball…Trudeau not so much.

  5. with the likes of reich and the clucking hens at the View and various sources of punditry, its all opinion opinion opinion opinion. aka ‘broken brain syndrome’

  6. Another oxygen thieving nobody who’s stamping his minuscule feet over the fact that him and those like him, those self-important, worthless souls who have never accomplished anything of note in the real world, they will never understand that the results of this election were the American people telling the credentialated class in this country, that they have had enough of their marxist fantasies and that they’d like sane adults with real world experience back in charge for a while.

    1. “For a while” is a keyword. US citizens who vote for sound principles over handout checks are not, never will be, and probably don’t expect to be a majority. “Malice toward none, charity toward all,” and building bridges rather than burning them, behoove us.

I don’t know Reich personally but, since I’ve followed and cited his Substack, I owe his reputation this much: When I was researching the Clinton administration, pro-impeachment, Reich was standing up to big Bill Clinton, taking blame for a Clinton idea, resigning, and adding a book to the dirt-on-the-Clintons stack…it seemed like part of all of their jobs. (Trump seems to have treated his appointees a little better than BC did.) He’s loyal to his party and even to his old school friend, and to his ethnic group. Still,he did admit that the Federal Reserve is an unelected entity that has entirely too much power, and that in the 1990s you probably had to be Jewish to say that before retirement. I liked that about him. Still do. There are worse sources to follow if you want to know what the Ds are up to.

  7. Trump’s cabinet picks aren’t just ‘loyalists’. They’re groveling, subservient yes-men.
