  1. 23% of those polled still support Dear Leader and his Children’s Crusade.
If we could convince tax paying citizens, that government employees voting is a blatant conflict of interest.
And strip every person, who takes from the public purse, of the right to vote upon where public moneys shall be spent.
The liberals would have a negative voter support.
And there is no more blatant form of stealing from the tax payer than these kleptocrats who rob us blind using Rules,Regulation and Policy control.

    1. Yes, I’ve been saying this for some time now, if I had the power to make it so. Take a gov’t job at the trade-off of the ability to vote. Leave the job, get your vote back.

Been told it’s unfair but purely on surface sentimentality, not based on that it takes 3-4 private sector jobs to pay for a single gov’t employee and that a continuance of this looting of the present ensures no future. For some, the thought of “no future” is just too much so they’d rather ensure no future in the most mindlessly unfettered manner possible and consider me an “extremist.”

  2. Giving people work in the government is not job creation. People paid with taxes DO NOT pay taxes. An amount similar to the tax payable is clawed back; other amounts are just reassigned. Taxing tax money does not generate more tax money. That includes civil servants and firms contracted with the government.
Moneys paid to these people do not grow the economy. Taxes shrink economies. Some government services work best under government. Until the 20th Century business, church and charities did the best job of 95% of what the government now does.

  3. From the article:
“In Ontario, the number of government jobs grew by 14.6% compared to 4.8% in the private sector. Eight out of the 10 provinces experienced a faster rate of job growth in the government sector than in the private sector over the four years. Alberta was the only large province where the private sector had a faster rate of job growth (7.2%) than the government sector (4.4%).”

I guess Doug Ford is “Expanding The Liberal Base”, Scott Moe too. Both are fools.

  4. Few citizens are as guaranteed to fit the description of Not See,as our “Civil Servants”.
They will deliberately Not See the damage they inflict on the producers of wealth in our society.
They will Not See the cost of their help.
They will always vote for “More Government Help” for the tax payer.
And they will insist we need their services.
National Debt is not their problem, they contribute nothing to the public treasury,so bankrupting the country is of no consequence..to them.
You owe them their pensions too.

  5. I wonder what will be done when there is no more profit to be taxed and no more industry to destroy?

    1. Uhh, USSR, South Africa, Zimbabwe, etc. etc. the examples are too numerous to count. The fact that this keeps going when the destination is obvious is a testament to the childishness of Canadians. They can’t cope with change. The US is a little better, it remains to be seen if they can cope with Musk and Ramaswamy. Argentina is proof it will work, but it is a shame society has to get right to the wall before growing up and growing a set.

  6. It is by design. I can’t remember which chapter of 49, states the people will be moved from the rural areas and into mega cities. Government will decide who works for the state run farms to feed the plebs. Agenda 21 / 30 is still being implemented… drip, drip, drip.
