  1. There will be some Major Shake ups coming….
in Particular the use of migrants – this applies to Canada as well.
I recall a certain devastating incident in Saskatchewan a few yrs ago…

Its RARE to see a Euro-Centric person driving said trucks these days…
as it is with EVERY Courier Company among numerous others as well.
I’ve also noticed that on our city roads said same demographic involved in the Sask Disaster seems to be unable to drive a Vehicle without having their cheek plastered with a cell phone to it.

    1. the Humboldt bus tragedy was used by Moe & co to justify the ridiculous new training regime they implemented. Another example of government over regulation

  2. Huh…. Might be why some of the loads we ship have missing info. (size, weight and tarp requirement)

A recent recurring problem is ‘double brokering’, where one middleman ‘load broker’ arranges a truck through another ‘load broker’, either willfully or unknowingly, which is highly illegal. Under the law, only one broker may be involved in a load arrangement between a shipper and the trucker hauling the load. In a double brokered situation, not only is an additional hand in the pie, removing value that ought to be going to the trucker who hauled the freight so that he can operate safely and turn a profit, but questions of liability and even more potential fraud arise. In the most egregious cases, we see situations where the trucker who hauled the load doesn’t get paid at all.

  3. Rigorous science increasingly indicates that CO2 emissions have negligible influence on climate. Nonetheless, the Climate Crisis will continue, as it is Too Big To Fail.
