Back From The Dead

Blacklock’s- New ArriveCan Plan By 2026

The program will see Canadians “provide their biographic, biometric declaration and other border-related information prior to arriving at the port of entry,” said the report Traveller Modernization. “Officers will be given smartphones to access the digital referrals and process them,” it said.

“Travellers will use a redesigned advance declaration mobile application to submit their digital photo, advance declaration and license plate information in advance of arrival,” wrote the Agency.

  1. Same as south of the border, there will be a new sheriff in town then, best to not ask The Turd™about this, but simply to redirect your questions to the next PM, and address him as “PM in waiting” directly in front of The Turd™

  2. Why do we need this? The gov doesn’t vet and eliminate the jihadi beheaders before being granted citizenship so additional effort seems moot.

    1. Blocking the exits will come after they block you from moving your money out of country. Why do you think that they’re still pushing for digital currency.

  3. WTF. They blew $50M redesigning the CDN passport over 10 years. Pittance compared to ArriveScam.
I guess that ain’t worth schite? Unless ya wanna get outta Banada.

  4. Sounds easier to just walk across the Canadian border line. Pick the right one and officials will carry your bags for you.

  5. Wow!!! Multiple additional layers of bureaucracy for folks to cross the border into Canada! I can only imagine the additional delays at ports of entry, and the long lines that will ensue. It’s gonna’ be really, really, stupendously popular, I predict.

  6. I’m sure they will be completely above board with this and never abuse it.

This is fine. This is fine. This is fine.

  7. Hey all you snowbird, they’re after you!
One of the recipients of the travel exit/return info is CRA, aka OAS and CPP.
    From the gov’t OAS website:
“If you do not qualify to receive your Old Age Security pension while outside of Canada, your payments will stop if you are out of the country for more than 6 months after the month you left. “

  8. Well, Canadians are not supposed to be in the US for more than 182 days (their rules). Driver’s licences are a provincial responsibility, not federal, and not everyone has a license plate.

In BC, access to health care in not available unless 5 months are spent in BC. These rules are fine and fair.

Leaving the country with “paid for” money is fair. If you earned or were gifted $$ in Canada, paid annual taxes on interest/capital gains, then one should be able to leave without double tax. I belive that those rules exist already. The problem is that some Canadians cheat.

I want cash, not digital $$$ that can be hacked. Already, national databases have been hacked and people have to buy insurance against identity theft.
