Without hesitation, Ujjal points to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
For two reasons, Ujjal blames Trudeau: “One, he’s never really understood the vast majority of Sikhs are quite secular in their outlook, despite the fact that they go to the temple,” he says. And the second reason: “Khalistanis are not a majority, and the fact nobody speaks against them is out of fear.” Through intimidation, Ujjal elaborates, Khalistani supporters control many of the temples in Canada. And it’s Trudeau’s fault, he asserts, “that Canadians now equate Khalistanis with Sikhs, as if we are all Khalistanis if we’re Sikhs.”

It isn’t likely that I have anything to agree with Mr. Dosanjh with in a political conversation, but as an insider to those conversations refers to The Turd™ being an imbecile, it’s difficult to disagree with him.

Yeah, the straw thing is just a random example of over-regulation of the trivial, first thing I thought of when I posted.
The deeper issue is how they rule. They rule by lying. This time they lied about drinking straws, which was good for a news-cycle and then moved on to the next lie. These days they’re lying about something else, each lie distracts for another news cycle, about a week, and then disappears.
They don’t even care about the things they say they care about, all you have to do is look at the gun ban. Zero guns recovered, despite the blanket ban and threatened buy-back program. All done for show, and to steal money. $46 millon for the buy-back spent already, no guns bought back. Gun crime through the roof.
So they take another little nibble every week, getting another little slice for themselves, implementing lots and lots of things the Intelligentsia of this country wants, mostly money and power for themselves.
Meanwhile ignoring crime, housing, employment, our vanishing industrial base, and paying attention to drinking straws or whatever the joke is this week. Trying to start a war with India this week, I guess.

As much as I loath Liberals (and their voters), when one of them finally speaks at least a part of the truth about the worst Canadian who ever lived, I tip my hat.

The first time I heard the term “Sikh terrorism” I though it was a joke.
I just thought the Sikh were a nice, peaceful, bunch from India. I had no idea there was any violence from that community. Quite an eye-opener.
Large swaths of Canada, including the one I live in are very rapidly becoming part of India. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out when they’re running this country.
