2. With respect to the posting “Chief whines at the U.N.”, I live in Regina and have noticed that the South East Asian (the true Indians) demographic is steadily increasing. They seem to have taken over most of the banking business and the ones whom I have met (so anecdotal, not verifiable) are involved in complex computer work. In the last 3 years, in the condominium where my sister purchased her investment condo, I would say that the demographic is now 50% South East Asian and 50% “old white people (I am 72, so am an “old white person).
   I mention this because, the true Indians are just getting on with their lives AND they seem to value education. I wish that the Canadian natives did not willingly continue to live in the past, start valuing education and think more about the future instead of grifting for more money from the federal government. I think every ethnic group should honour their past, but live in the present and think about the future.
