1. I’m going to channel climate change logic to prove that neither temperature is problematic:

   If it’s a 14C daytime high in Alberta and a 30C high in S.Ontario then by simple math the Canadian average temperature is 22C today. Since 22C is a nearly perfect early summer temperature, all of Canada’s temperature right now is perfect. /s

   On another note, I believe we are shutting down our last coal fired power plant! Isn’t that great news?! Now China can add another 300!

5. Last year we were in Alberta at this time of year.
   Alberta had:
   Too hot and dry = bad fires.
   Too wet = bad flash flooding.
   Too cold = it was snowing.
   ALL ON THE SAME DAY.

6. Problem with the climate concerned is that they pick the one spot in the whole country that is either too hot or too wet or too dry and extrapolate that to global climate change. If it doesn’t support their narrative they ignore it.

7. There may in fact be something about climate change that we should not ignore but the climate hysterics have cried “wolf” far too often. Deadlines have come and gone and we are not yet drowned by the rising sea or blown into the ocean by ever more severe hurricanes nor have the forests all burned to ash or what ever other catastrophes they predicted. And now we just tend to ignore any concern they voice. They have shot themselves in the foot with their own hyperbole.

   1. The world is getting warmer. A 16,000 year trend line can’t be wrong.

   2. A quick summary of Climate Change ( – or whatever they’re calling it this week – ), Katie. All this can be looked-up, and I have voluminous proofs for it all that nobody wants to read:
      1) CO2 is ~4/10,000ths (400 parts per million (ppm)) of the atmosphere. Humans contribute 4% of that; ants contribute 10%.
      2) CO2 is a very minor greenhouse gas that’s at saturation in the troposphere (the part of the atmosphere we live in); which means, every doubling of CO2 (which even at the current rates of increase, takes a LOOONG time) will raise the temperature by 1° C.
      3) The U.N. IPCC is mandated to only consider human-induced (“anthropogenic”) Climate Change, so they ignore ~96% of the CO2 in the atmosphere.
      4) There are HUGE reserves of dissolved CO2 in the deep ocean. Cold water absorbs more dissolved gases than warm water, so if the deep ocean warms up it will release more gases, including CO2. But it takes a very long time of hotter temperatures to warm up the deep ocean – which means CO2 FOLLOWS warming, it does not cause it. In fact, CO2 follows warming by some 800 (“eight hundred”) years. This destroys CAGW theory at a stroke of the pen.
      5) CO2 is VITAL to plant life, through the magic of photosynthesis – plants take in CO2 and convert it to free O2 (which they release) and simple sugars, which the plants chow-down on; botanists call CO2 “nature’s best free fertilizer”. John Kerry told the President of the U.S. that we must remove CO2 entirely from the atmosphere – fortunately we can’t do it, because below 1.5/10,000ths CO2 (150 ppm), photosynthesis stops. Then all the plants die, and everything that eats plants (or eats other animals that eat plants) starves. So if we removed all the CO2, it would change our little blue-green planet into a blue-brown planet on which nothing lives.
      6) Last boring factoid, then I’ll shut up. Our most common greenhouse gas is water vapour, by a wide margin; from almost none over deserts to >4% over tropic oceans. Water vapour is the reason there’s life on Earth, because Earth is outside the Sun’s liquid water band; it’s not warm enough out here for us, and without greenhouse gases (particularly water vapour), the planet would undergo an immediate 32° C temperature decrease; and our little blue-green planet would become a little white planet.

11. The Weather Network used to have “historical’ data with record hi and lo for each date.
    Not anymore. It was too obvious that it proved we are not causing climate change.
    Now try to find ‘records’. It is a well kept secret.
