        1. There you go!

I was hoping the reported spikes of solar activity would take down my internet connection but so far, no luck!

FYI, I would be delighted to connect with you directly, but I don’t know if Kate can facilitate that.
          Yer posts are awesome.

          Cheers!

    1. Kates Reply to the FOOL asking what WENT WRONG..??

“…I’ll save you the time: what went “wrong” was the decriminalization of drugs.
You’d need to be blazing midday sun on Mercury stupid not to know how it would turn out”

  1. Nice of detox to step up and take the place of tupperware parties.

“…and this one time, this one time, in drug camp…”

What forward-thinking province will next step forward, and outlaw locking car doors?

  2. The problem with this approach is that addicts have to start thinking straight before they can make any real progress. And that means getting clean first.
Otherwise , I think they just enjoy the convenience and the attention of the kindly nurses. It’s a lifestyle, strangely enough.
And let’s not forget the side hustle of resale
    Drugs, medical attention and $$$$!

  3. Adults doing drugs (alcohol, pot, prescription drugs) while telling youth not to sends the wrong message.
    Society needs an attitudinal change.

  4. I’ve never been to Mercury so … dodged a bullet there. But who (in their right mind) would have thought you can solve a drug problem by making drugs more widely available? And how thoroughly retarded do you have to be to watch the drug problem unravel with the wider availability of drugs and then ponder on the reason, as if there is another one? If you hate drug addicts you’ve hired the right people.

    1. Long have I contended that hard drugs should be available free to anyone stupid enough to take them. The problem would solve itself if government exonerated itself of responsibility including offering rescue to those who OD or harm themselves in other ways.
As with all other “social safety net” fiascos, appropriate aid would have to come from someone else’s sacrifice AKA charity. Gives meaning to My Brother’s Keeper.

    2. They’re unquestionably not in their right minds; but if they are, then whoever put them in charge is not in THEIR right minds. Objectively, the trip from MAID to FREE NARCOTICS HERE is a very short drive.

There is so much ignorance celebrated in government in this day and age that it is impossible to select a Most Valuable Player.
