  1. It is pretty evident that this was a US/UK operation. They warned their people in Russia that something was going to happen. It did. My only question is what is Russia going to do in retaliation. This is more than the dick piano player could have pulled off.

  7. This is likely Islamic Chechen separatists. They hate Russia and are still butt-hurt over the Second Chechen War. The Chechens have a long history of terror in Russia. Given the situation in Ukraine, this is a good opportunity for them to destabilize their region.

  8. The terrorists from the south of Russian client states as well as further south ISIS folks and Hamas all read from the same books. Some are more devout, some claim to be even more devout than that! Their aims are all the same, and they’ll do what’s necessary for the cause … I think the number was $5k for these folks … perhaps they gave the money to their family’s? How much does $5k buy in Tajikistan?
    As to “escaping through Ukraine” … this seems like it’s a story line from a not real successful movie, and we’ve seen parts of this already.

    Will the Russians put them on the rack until they sing? Perhaps they’ll televise it for the masses? What will the USA do about that? Cut off the Russian’s ability to use US dollars for trade? I think they’ve already done that, the US is at the point where they’re limited to “stern letters”.
    When you’ve taken everything from someone, they’re no longer your slave. They have nothing else to lose.

  10. Could be false flag and could be Muslims. Could be like Nord Stream. Could be like the attack in Paris. Remember in 2015, 130 French civilians were killed and more than 350 injured. They do this all the time after all and many hold grudges against Russia. I will wait and see. There’s a reason Biden is not shooting back at Iranian targets but only the proxies. Who knows how many Islamic sleeper cells and groups of crazies exist?

    The bottom line is that we are being pushed and prodded into a war by America while we are being told that Putin and Trump are the bad guys. Do a little critical thinking here, the Nordstream explosions could only have been carried out by one or two navies in an act of clandestine warfare, and yet Putin did not respond. The American withdrawl from Afghanistan was an in your face CIA manouvre to openly provide the Taliban with the where-with-all to threaten Russia. The CIA interference in the Ukraine election was another in your face ploy by the American military industrial complex. Three examples of clandestine operations that in the past would have been enough to start a war. Anyone remember how WWI and WWII started? The propaganda being spouted in America is thick with hypocrisy, do not be fooled or taken in by it. The reality of the situation is that Trump and Putin maybe the only two leaders in the world that are intelligent enough to prevent another global conflict, and that is what the Democrats are deathly afraid of.

  13. Whether or not it’s true, Russia is blaming Ukraine and vowing revenge.

    It’s hard not to assume the attack in Russia has to do with the war in Ukraine, but it could just be opportunists wanting to injure Russia and without leaving an obvious trail to retribution.

    1. It’s also hard to imagine Islamic terrorists will avoid attacking a country simply because it’s busy elsewhere.

    As apparently shooting down a passenger airliner has been done in the past,just to eliminate one man.
    So who are these victims?
    And who had most reason for them to die?

    If the victims are random,who gains from this atrocity?
    What the media will not report,may be the explanation..

  15. ISIS released a photo of the 4 terrorists allegedly taken just before they set off on their mission. This photo just confuses things further.

    1. Their faces are blurred out, unlike virtually every other jihadist photo/video, where the “martyrs” proudly show their faces.

    2. Since when do ISIS “martyrs” not martyrize themselves? Surely they could have slaughtered many more civilians if they stuck around instead of fleeing, and taken at least some of the cops out when they finally showed up. But they wanted to live.

    3. There are no “Allahu Akbars” spoken in the videos of the attack, which is strange since Muslim terrorists typically scream that over and over when carrying out an attack. And while being interrogated none of them mention Allah or Islam, but instead claim they did it for the money.

    4. They are doing the Shahada (profession of the faith, pointing to the sky) in the pic, except it’s with their left hands. No Muslim would ever do the Shahada with their left hand, it’s strictly Haram.

    5. It’s implied that the terrorists are wearing the same clothes in the pic as those they were captured in. Although at first glance this seems correct, and many people online seem to think this is proof that they’re the same guys, upon closer inspection they are clearly wearing different shirts than the ones the terrorists were wearing when captured.

    6. ISIS martyrs almost always prerecord videos of themselves pledging allegiance to ISIS, so everybody knows for sure it was them. If such videos exist why hasn’t ISIS released them?

    7. Why were the terrorists fleeing towards Ukraine? Russia borders 14 different nations, yet these guys ignored the seemingly easier routes and thought they could escape across the front lines of an active war zone where they would surely be surveilled, captured or killed trying?

      I doubt Russia will waste any effort retaliating against ISIS. They’ll redouble focus on Odessa, which evidently terrifies the French.

      Good points, jeppo….there are definitely a few things here that just don’t add up. While the usual suspects have shown up in this thread to chortle with glee at the loss of Russian lives, most of us (the grownups) just want some answers that make sense. It could be as simple as retaliation for Russian actions in Syria, or something totally unrelated. We’ll see…

    Meanwhile, the loses russians suffered in Moscow yesterday (probably from their own hands) have been nothing compared to harm done by russians to Ukrainians every single day since they have attacked.

      I would tend to agree…the government or military of Ukraine was most likely not involved in this. Doesn’t rule out a fringe group of misguided Ukrainians, but it certainly would not have been sanctioned by anyone in authority.

It you can’t figure out which particular word is the culprit, you *might* be able to use the ‘edit’ function to narrow it down by removing one line at a time, reposting, and seeing if your post still disappears (watching the 4 minute time limit,of course) when you leave and re-enter the thread. Maybe.

  23. We are told that Muslims use Terrorism … because that is the only “tool” they have to fight back against The Great Satan – America. That American military might is so great, that Terrorism is their only way to fight a war.

    Well … it is apparent that Ukraine has LOST their attempt to dislodge Russia from “their country”. And it isn’t gonna get any better … even WITH more $$$ US Taxpayer dollars. Ukraine has LOST the War, and don’t have any more men to put into the battle. So … perhaps this is their adoption of the Muslim playbook?

    The outline is logical.

    1. I think they’d be stupid to attack civilians in a theater. I’m sure there are military targets they might be able to hit. This would lose them support everywhere. Maybe Colonista could excuse it but nobody sane. Putin might try it to accomplish that but the Muslims are still my first suspects.

    It’s reported that these Terrorist suspects received a few thousand dollars American for their efforts? That was their paltry, minimal, pay? They killed 140 living souls for a few thousand $$? So each Russian life is worth about $ 30.00? I knew life was CHEAP outside America and Canada … but $30.00!? That’s beyond SICK.

      Took the police a long time to show up. And there didn’t seem to be any police etc. in the complex when the attackers started shooting.
