1. You can either have freedom of speech, or you can have McCarthyism as originally formulated. You cannot have both.
   That being said, if politicians were actually held to their oath of office, this wouldn’t matter.

The dutiful robots with few exceptions just turned 180 degrees and said Hitler was just fine with them. These people were ‘True Believers.’

7. In Walt Disney’s authorized biography there was a section devoted to his Republican politics. Disney got together regularly with all the famous Hollywood Republicans. Here is the list:

   Robert Montgomery
   Adolph Menjou
   Ginger Rogers.

   That was it – all 4 of them. It was only after WWII that the list grew. You committed professional suicide by declaring you were a Republican. The above 4 were all stars so couldn’t be touched. Morrie Ryskind, the famous Screenwriter for the Marx Brothers movies as well as Oscar Winner and Pulitzer Prize Winner was ostracized when he came out as a Republican in the early 1960’s. That was the end of his career.

   Hollywood is still Far Left Extremist. Nothing has changed whatsoever.

   Ryskind’s autobiography is entitled ” There is an elephant in my pajamas.” Good read.
