I applaud Mr. Paul for being an honest Liberal, very rare. I am incredulous that he does not realize the only investigating he has caused is of himself, by the RCMP, the CRA, and who knows who else. He will be broken now, as an example to others who need reminding who is in charge, and how vile this sick joke of a country is.

Yes, as does the entire rest of the banking system, the federal government, and the provincial governments. And isn’t it simply fascinating to watch all those watchdogs and regulators sitting on their hands, saying nothing, doing nothing? Absolutely fascinating.
When the dog doesn’t bark, it is safe to assume someone he knows is coming around feeding him tasty treats while foxes raid the hen house. Question for the thinking reader, what kind of treat is tasty enough to make the whole Canadian financial system shut up and not bark?
The political situation in Canada is beyond stupid. I was involved at the party level, the conservative party, I watched as things changed and not for the better. Decisions were taken out of the hands of the riding associations and given to corporate for want better description. The head of the party could override decisions on who to run in the riding, literally taking the local person out of the running. That is just one of the things that went wrong. I do not have the time or the inclination to write book on what has gone on but there are many like me who have seen what I have and despise it.
Broken. Yes the system is broken.
