        Yes, and they will obviously rule in favor of Trump. The credibility of the entire justice system is at stake, and not just in New York.

      3. Allan S – Mark Steyn and Scott Adams both said that Trump has to pay the penalty before he can appeal the verdict. There was no option mentioned to get the higher courts to squash it without doing an appeal.

    The law also creates a new crime called “provocation to abstention from medical care.”  A French citizen is guilty of a crime if the person refuses a vaccine or medical treatment handed down by authorities.  Had the law been in place during the mass vaccination campaign with the deadly mRNA “vaccine,” all who refused would have received three years imprisonment and paid a 45,000 euro fine. This ensures that next time everyone will receive the “vaccine,” because if you refuse you will be imprisoned and the prison rules will require you to be “vaccinated.”

    HATE PROPAGANDA
    Hate propaganda offences: 1) “advocating or promoting genocide 2) public incitement of hatred and 3)wilful promotion of antisemitism.”

    CONVERSION THERAPY:
    The four specific offences include 1) causing a person to undergo conversion therapy, 2) promoting or advertising this practice, 3) profiting from providing the practice, and 4) moving a child out of Canada with the intention of having the child undergo conversion therapy.

  17. The Bank of Canada thinks that raising interest rates will help bring rent costs under control. How the hell is that possible when the mortgages of the landlords increases with those higher interest rates.

    Meanwhile, the Bank of Canada is happy that Canada’s inflation rate has dropped to 2.9%. Is the inflation rate really under 3% or is it just that we are being told that?

    My feeling is the rate hikes are about to crush mortgage holders and in order to lower them (to soften the crush), governments need to show that inflation is dropping, regardless of the real inflation rate. So look for lower interest rates this year to fix that “sticky” rental rate. And higher food prices. But lower inflation rates.
