Oh?

Blacklocks- Vax Unpopular With Nurses

A large number of health care workers including most nurses surveyed were reluctant to take Covid shots over fear of side effects, says in-house Public Health Agency research. “Many critical questions remain,” said the first-ever study of vaccine hesitancy among Canadian medical staff: “The prospect of losing their employment played a role in their decision to get vaccinated.”

    1. If you were interested in the truth you would subscribe. But you aren’t and just gobble up the propaganda from those covering their asses. Many cops and others wouldn’t have got that garbage if only their union ‘leaders’ would have stood up for them. The shits were and are absolute crap.

      1. How many posting here have a subscription to Blacklock’s Reporter? Judging from the comments, I’m guessing few or none, given they’re not discussing anything but the abstract.

        1. I don’t. I learned a long time ago that pre-paying for a subscription to anything puts all the risk in your court. If Mr Blacklock and his ilk want to give me their opinion, they will find backers with deeper pockets than I’ve got.

          1. Mama Bear has instructed us to play nice. I recommend you curtail the insults, although it’s entirely up to you of course.

          2. He didn’t insult you, furball. He pointed out that you push propaganda, as you do. It would be wise to remember that you don’t own this space, and should not presume to speak as if you do.

          3. It would be wise to remember that you don’t own this space, and should not presume to speak as if you do.

Wait a minute, you’re threatening me? It ain’t your blog, bud.

And yes, I do to presume to speak my mind. Live with it.

      1. It’s considerate of you to provide a link to a paper addressing the critical issue of vaccine safety. I recommend everyone read it.

But only a few of the 22 authors had sociology degrees, presumably because they had developed novel statistical techniques that were useful here. The rest were medical doctors, statisticans, epidemiologists, and a bunch of public-health experts.

Please feel free to provide other scientific papers on vaccine safety.

        1. Killer Marmot,
How about 3,852 studies, even if just for early treatments?
Very interesting, and with deep drilldowns into the underlying data.
Rigorously done, and of true high academic quality.
          The old fashioned kind IYKWIM.
“COVID-19 early treatment: real-time analysis of 3,852 studies”
          https://c19early.org/

          1. This is not a scientific paper submitted to a journal, but a web site someone’s running and continuously updating. I can’t find the authors or the methodology, nor numerous other useful things a scientific paper has.

Hard to know what to make of it.

The “Excercise” one is peculiar. Are they suggesting that people who have just come down with COVID exercise, and that this can save lives? People who have severe (or even moderate) COVID and thus are at risk of death are likely in no condition to exercise.

And why are Vitamins C and D considered higher risk than Vitamin A? That seems backwards, as you can overdose on A but it’s hard to do so on C and D.

            So many questions.

          2. DR:

The most important property a scientific study can have is transparency, where the authors give enough information that others can understand and critique the methodology and, if they choose, try to replicate the results.

Do-it-yourselfers tend to do a poor job of that.

        2. “Scientific Papers”. That is buddies in the same camp agreeing with each other. Peer review is a concept that was scandalized long ago by global warming frauds. The concept is now useless. Only a tenth man concept now holds validity.

  1. “The prospect of losing their employment played a role in their decision to get vaccinated.”

    Like hell!
Too bad they didn’t have a union to stand up for them, eh?

    1. Unions are all in the back pocket of the globalist clown world scum. Every single one of them. They exist to advance their masters’ agenda, not protect their members.

      1. That became plain to see to everyone who pays attention. Communists. Anyone have another answer?
I’ll listen, but it better be good.

      2. On the whole I am against Unions, worked in film/television and therefore was forced to share my earnings with (join) a union. I was never convinced that they held the interest of members above those of the union itself.

Many union members it appears found out what I had suspected all along, when mandates came in.

There were some surprising exceptions, which will never be mentioned in our captured MSM, unless one takes the time to read what others write in the comments. Which is how I found out about the Unifor vs Stellantis case, a couple in Saskatchewan and most recently the Teamsters vs. Purolator in BC.

Most of these rulings can be found doing a search of Canlii.

      3. It is a myth that unions work for their members. Unions are simply an intermediary between the workers and the “employers”. They are in fact legalized criminal “protection” rackets skimming off protection money from the workers. They are not examples of democratic institutions, anyone in union leadership has been vetted, selected and trained to toe the union line. They do nothing for independent thinking members.

  2. Union are dead useless against the “guvernment”. Health care workers know, but do not talk, and the some of the gen pop know a bit more now.

COVID “vaccines” were a blatant lie/massive pharma experiment from the get-go.

    1. Union are dead useless against the “guvernment”.
NDP is the whip hand of the federal government, so yes.

  3. A while back, I got a Shingrix shot. I told the nurse I wasn’t an anti-vaxer, but there was no way I was going to take another covid booster. “Me neither “, she said.

    1. I was accused of being an anti-vaxer despite the fact that I had 4 real vaccinations during the covid bullshit. – 2 for shingles, 1 for tetanis, and 1 for pneumonia – FTW.

  4. I’m comforting myself by knowing the poor nurses will all be able to buy second cottages with the cheques we’ll write them for making them take the exact same thing that they injected into babies arms between dancing videos at their “work”.

  5. My daughter is an BN, RN her peers are the most vax resistant group I know. They all have the same response, “I’ve seen the results”.

  6. Voluntary consent and informed consent are the ethical and legal basis of medical care and clinical research. Coercion (including financial coercion), force and deception are not allowed. Not obtaining voluntary, informed consent is considered a form of battery and has legal consequences.

These are very basic medical principles that were developed in response medical/experimental malpractice, exploitation of vulnerable people and inhumane atrocities of the past. Those medical principles should not have been violated, no matter how much fear people felt about covid. Coercion, segregation and discrimination to override voluntary, informed consent is immoral and unethical.

The exceptions are in an emergency when the patient or a guardian is unable to give consent or when the conditions of employment regarding medical interventions are disclosed *before* taking a job.

    1. As a non-clinical worker in a supporting role I was twice mandated by my multinational employer to take the clot-shot
It was made a condition of employment, and proof had to go to HR.
Cornered and hooped when you have family obligations
Not a voluntary choice, but coercion by an overwhelming force

      1. What happened to people during covid was appalling. Two of our unvaccinated kids were kicked out of college. Our unvaccinated high school kids couldn’t go to restaurants, swimmiing pools, movies, sports events or even for coffee with friends and teammates. We spend well over $2000 dollars getting twice weekly covid tests so my husband could remain employed, with constant threats of impending vaccine or get fired mandates. We decided he would retire, if necessary, instead of getting the vaccine. We at least had options because we were financially secure. But, we did have an escape plane to leave Canada in case the discrimination against the unvaccinated continued to get worse.

Who thought this would happen in a supposedly civilized country like Canada? We now see how quickly a country can go from a civilized democracy that upholds human rights to an authoritarian nightmare, with no legal consequences for politicians and bureaucrats. A truly shocking insight into human nature and abuse of political power

        1. Be glad you didn’t cave to the pressure.
I gave in and got the first two shots, have been sick ever since.

          1. Stubbornness runs in our family. A gift and a curse.

I hope you feel better soon. You never should have been coerced to give up your bodily autonomy and medical rights.

          2. My daughter got vaxxed in order to keep her job snd 2 years later was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. She is 36.

        2. A truly shocking insight into human nature and abuse of political power
The Son King was steeped in the brew of the Sexual, Cuban, and Quiet Revolutions, when Canada fundamentally transformed into Medicare, Two Solitudes, and the Pill.

        3. That’s where we were. My wife is an American so she had her escape but mine was a plan to cross the border on foot in Saskatchewan. Praise the Lord for the brave folks at Sobey’s who told New Brunswick’s jab tyrants they would not prevent the unjabbed from shopping for food, followed soon afterward by the Freedom Convoy.

    2. There is no informed consent in Canada. I’m not sure when it died but it started rotting with a distinct odour during the vaccine mandates. We can’t trust our media because they lie. We can’t trust our government and any of their health department people because they lie. We can’t trust our doctors because they are either gleefully in on the lie for the financial rewards or they are silenced by the threat of losing their license. We can’t trust peer reviewed journals because they are corrupted. We can’t trust social media because of the censorship. (Take note Killer Rodent. Your insistence on only looking at peer reviewed journal data shows you are part of the problem because of he ability of senior editors to reach down and retract papers without cause except that they upset Big Pharma.)

So today, in Canada, the only people who have truly informed consent on the ones with the training required to do stuff like go through a peer reviewed paper and pick out the flaws or do their own statistical analysis of the raw data. Even that is severely limited by things like huge fees for access to data and manipulation of data by tricks like “you’re unvaccinated if you had your jab days 1-14, 1-21 in BC and Sask, and anything that happens during that period, or after 28 days from being fully vaccinated, is due to COVID, not the jab.

Informed consent is dead in Canada. The best we have is look around you and go with your gut. My gut says if government wants you to do something, do the opposite.

  7. Wife’s a nurse, lost her job because she wouldn’t take the Vax. The nurses at the hospital I was in also said they didn’t want to take it. Well except for the one bossy one

  8. My daughter left the Ontario Nursing scene after 2 yrs in the COVID unit, not because of COVID.

Complete Incompetent Management. Never a full shift of personnel, especially PSW’s. Too many self entitled A$shole drug addicted patients. Many would take solid dumps in their bed, too lazy to get up.

Nurses have to clean that up. Ontario can announce Billion$ in “Health Care” funding. They will never have enough Dr,’s or Nurses to staff the work.
My Dr is retiring. She will be breaking up her large patient load into 4 separate Dr’s offices. None of the GenZ’s want the long hours like the old Dr’s.

For 1 Dr to retire, it takes at least 2-3 new Dr’s to absorb the existing numbers. Meanwhile 40% of Ontario has no family Dr.
    Dug Ford will fix it…

    1. It has nothing to do with Doug Ford and everything to do with that effing idiot in Ottawa that is overwhelming every and all systems by bringing in OVER 1,500,000 people every year into Canada. 500,000+ legal immigrants, 200,000 refugees and illegals, 800,000 student visas (all of which are eligible to apply for permanent residence status).

  9. Lost respect for the nurses thanks to their dancing TikTok videos, after we had all been told they were overworked and overrun by Covid patients.
Vast majority bent over and took their whacks. The nurses I know are disciples of Bonnie Henry, cuz they saved millions from death.
I hope they’re now overworked, serving that lying ideologue POS Adrian Dix. Just desserts.

    1. They must have been the ones who attended the “world premier” of Bonnie’s documentary.
And don’t get me going on Adrian DICK.
What was hidden has come to light.
BC protocols killed people that I know.
      It is deliberate.
      Follow the silenced.
Dix, Henry, et al, must reap the whirlwind. And the list of them goes way higher up than LITTLE nothings like DIX and HENRY….but those who followed orders can join their overlords. NO MERCY.
      Have a nice day.

  10. People working in long term care homes saw the devastation firsthand. There was always a big spike in deaths following the jab and boosters.

    1. After the last round of boosters we had three “died suddenly,” two brand new stage four cancers in young people, and three strokes among those who partook. And those are just the ones I know about.

  11. My daughter is an RN…

Refused the ‘Vid shot. Couldn’t be a Nurse… finished her Osteopath training…

Has given up on Canada because of such tyranny…

Now has moved to Costa Rica to set up her wellness business there…

    You go girl.

  12. My sister who works in hospital administration in the States told me way back at the beginning of the vac rollout that they were seeing lots of side effects among the medical personnel in her hospital. I never heard anything after that, wonder if they threatened or bribed her to keep silent. She had to get the shots to keep her job.

  13. If any of the “conservatives” in Canada or the US were worth their salt, they would have submitted legislation by now that makes it illegal for an employer to inquire about your vaccination status. As far as I’m aware, the only state to do so in the US was Montana.

    1. Employers in Sweden are not allowed to ask for vaccination status, that was true also during covid.
Sweden, of course, have seen very good outcomes post-covid (comparatively speaking), look at for example all-cause mortality rates.

      1. Yes but those Swedes are all going to eventually pay for not following the WHO recommendations.

  14. Hi Killer Marmot,
Seems I have to parse my answers to you in single-url containing replies.
    Here’s one:
    Hi KM,
Each data point is a vector for further drilldown.
Each dataset can be sliced and diced many different ways, depending upon attributes. Highlight an author, a molecule, a study, and poke around. Most items are available in PDF as well.
    E.g, https://c19early.org/graydond.html
“High baseline frequencies of natural killer cells are associated with asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection”
Can be read by a link to the journal article in “Source” or pulled in on PDF, on this row:
Jul 2023 Share Source PDF All Studies Meta Analysis

Answer to your Exercise question is next, that is if this one works.

    1. Give it up. Killer Marmot is either brainwashed to the point of irrationality or more likely on the payroll of Big Pharma. He might even be a human being with a conscience that is a member of the government who has to push the “jab is safe and effective” mantra or face the unbearable consequences of knowing he murdered thousands of Canadians with his wokey pokey.

      1. Wrong on all counts. Rather Killer Marmot is someone who’s asked himself “What’s the evidence? Where’s the most credible source of information?”

And the answer was the preponderance of scientific studies. The answer was NOT people on blogs or YouTube accounts with obvious axes to grind, often abusing the logic and statistics in ways that may not have been obvious to the typical reader, but were often obvious to me.

        1. And having found the evidence, Marmot has then declared, “Wow, this shit looks hard! I’ll just believe whatever I want to believe!”

Look, I hate to be mean, Marmot, because your heart is clearly in the right place and you have a lot going for you, but jesus, you’re a gullible dunce. Maybe ride this particular hobby horse a little less frantically.

          1. It’s a threat. Turns out I can threaten a piece of chicken shit like you as much as I want, and you haven’t got the balls to do anything about it.

Yes, of course it’s not a threat. It isn’t even an insult, it’s simply a statement of what you are. But you’ll lie about that, because lying is all you’re good for.

          2. Yeah, you’re really brave in a forum where everyone except one person sees things your way.

Kate’s threats to clean up your type of garbage are getting ridiculous. If she isn’t going to do act on her statements, she would be better saying nothing at all.

  15. Hi KM,
For the Exercise item mentioned, by clicking the subject it will take one here:
    https://c19early.org/ex
And all the underlying journal articles are linked and PDF-able, by clicking “Studies” in similar fashion as per above mention. Forewarned, it is almost too easy to go down the rabbit hole here with interesting deep data access like this.

  16. Hi KM,
The Vit A anomaly has limited data likely skewing the result (only 3 studies and 420 patients total) and shows with that notation and in an offsetting colour.
“Random effects meta-analysis of early treatment studies (pooled effects). Treatments with ≤3 studies with distinct authors or with <50 control events are shown in grey."
There is a ton of stuff on this site, and quite worthwhile poking around in for anyone so inclined.

    1. That explains it. The main page talked about “early treatment” for COVID infection, but exercise was before infection. I wonder if many of the others were prior to infection, such as vitamin deficiency.

      1. Hi KM,
Indeed being in good physical shape, or having sufficient VitD on board, are verified being of great predictive value in C19 disease patient outcome.
Avoiding low blood levels of vitamin D, being as fit as we can be, are like having good tires and having your car well maintained before heading out on a long journey.
The site referenced focuses on early treatments, and compares all proven-effective factors.

  17. No matter what the rodent says or who he quotes the fact is the shots have killed millions and are injuring millions. The lies will not change those facts. Science is on the side of truth.

    1. VNN is trying hard to spin this, but notice they don’t give any numbers in their article. All they say is that the study found that adverse effects occurred.

But the most common adverse effects like “myocarditis, pericarditis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis” (quoted from the study) were already well known.

The interesting point of the study is they may have identified other adverse effects. But these effects are rare, only rising above statistical significance due to the massive size of the study (99 million people).
