        1. So just for context, is it an inconvenient truth that the people of Crimea voted to join the Russian Federation? It has been my thoughts that the whole Ukraine mess is a result of protecting people to whom money was filtering back and by massive politically driven decisions serving personal interests. Five years ago I would have been full on ” We must defend Ukraine.” Thanks rich for the tip.

      “Mind blowing”

It really was. I don’t often have the patience to watch something like that, but I did it this time. Wow…

“Outrageous” would be my one-word take on it. Well worth watching, for sure.

    1. So many of the urban elite in eastern Canada (I am looking at you – Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City) have no clue as to how the real world works. Without farmers, there is no food, without truckers, nothing is delivered and without grocery stores, there is no effective distribution.
I say this based on my experiences working for an organic farm co-op who used trucking companies 90% of the time to haul product to either the end user or to the Lakehead to go via container ship to Rotterdam. Very occasionally, they would use train transportation if the bulk order was sufficiently large enough and the train was going to the right destination. Even then, the grain car would be off-loaded onto a semi to be delivered to its final destination.
I have long advocated for just such an action – no food or in fact, anything deliveries to major eastern cities. Of course, I am sure our wonderful federal government would try to lock them up again.

They may just be taught a few things if this trucker strike spreads

jeez louise let it happen. let it fan out if no immediate response. let *something* happen in the minds of not tens but 100s thousands truckers join in. THAT’S how to do it.

    1. Make Jew hating swine hide their faces in shame. Force them to explain themselves and don’t be kind. They are subhuman.

    2. Especially liked the mention of “safe spaces” in the conference organizers’ bafflegab: “Our focus at INSPIRE has been and will always be to create safe spaces to honor, share, and celebrate the remarkable stories of women”. Right, like the safe space at the music festival on Oct.7.

    1. As a personal response to Stephen Harper supporting a “Palestinian State”, it already exists and is called Jordan.

      1. “As a personal response to Stephen Harper supporting a “Palestinian State”, it already exists and is called Jordan.”

A fact that needs to be repeated every time some fool brings up the tired old “two-state solution”, which the ‘Palestinians’ have in fact rejected every time it is offered to them.

        1. The Palestinians could also go to Iran, South Africa, or Brazil, where I’m sure they’ll be welcome.
