      1. Hitler was not parachuted in to take over a party long entrenched on power. He did not become Chancellor by gaining leadership of his party, in which he had long been secure, but by agreeing to a deal with other parties. I frankly see no similarities between Hitler and Carney, except that they’re both rather nasty and shabby specimens.

    1. He is typical of the “totally sucks at life in general” set. Incompetence drives his lust for power. Iron fisted ruling hides his lack of functional intelligence.

    Trump is the very FIRST conservative leader in America who understands the left’s dirty dealings … and meets them on the playing field THEY defined. He plays as dirty as they do. As they are. No more polite, check-pant, country club, fecklessness.

    1. The country is lost. Our only hope is a positive vote for Alberta independence. Even then it has been reported that at an event at a Stelco steel plant Carney opined he would use the emergency act to prevent it. I don’t believe he will need to go that far ,as the Federal government can use the ” not withstanding clause” to circumvent the court rulings and laws on separation. We would need international recognition to achieve it. I am no legal expert , but possibly some other readers would have an opinion on this.
      As an aside, it appears there may have been a last minute surge of Liberal votes in the Quebec by election to secure the win. These guys are playing for keeps.

      1. So The Greatest Economist Ever (TM) has publicly stated that The Clarity Act is null and void? Under his enlightened and regal leadership I guess such pronouncements can be made when His Majesty so decides.

        I might suggest an invocation of the Emergency Act would draw a rather rapid response from our friends to the South with an immediate dispatching of the No. 3 Eagle Scout Troop from Great Falls to secure the situation to the North.
