We could change government and government policies and practices tomorrow, and very little would change. Most institutions (and many Canadians) would just carry on down the same path, feeling superior and self righteous all the way.
I appreciate much of what PP wants to say. But he would face the same Deep State mindset as Trump did, and little would change. The bit that did change would be reversed the day the Libs are returned by the media and sheeple.

I also agree Burton. I saw a recent pole of Canadians. 64% believe if Trump is elected ,it is the end of democracy in the U.S. Does anyone really believe the Liberals are done, because I sure don’t. UBI probably will get as many votes as making pot legal. They haven’t run out of other peoples money .
Canadians have been getting the pole since about 1968. And they seem to be enjoying it.
Government by Quebec for Quebec first & foremost (do they even take refugees?). *My West Coast neighborhood has rapidly become largely Muslim under this regime. At least, even though the standard “Canadian” section at the local Superstore is quickly shrinking in favor of the growing “international” & Halal sections, I can find enough equivalent stuff there at less than the infidel rate. Sad to say, but the concept of a Canada is pretty much done, unlike our friends to the South who are still a majority of conservatives, Canada has gone full socialism, hope i’m wrong but that will be hard to reverse. My son who’s a 36 yr old professional in Toronto is seriously considering moving out of Canada for better opportunities and to associate with people who aren’t predominantly Woke. I’m in my 60’s and have means so I can live anywhere,
most of your generation don’t have that option.
