          3. I don’t like Zelensky at all, and I’m appalled at what’s been done to the Ukraine, but I can’t quite manage to blame him. He was playing a game that was more than a bit dishonest but which shouldn’t have done any serious harm, and he expected to be able to keep it up as long as Putin didn’t do anything stupid. It wasn’t his fault that Putin stuck his cock in the pickle slicer. And once he found himself in this fix, Zelensky hasn’t handled it too badly; certainly open to criticism, but hardly a disgrace.

            Though I must say that watching the corpses pile up has a way of chilling my sympathy. At some point this evil has to end. Shouldn’t it have been ended by now?

      2. You have been inhaling Kremlin propaganda for too long Chrissie. Zelensky personally has not been benefiting from western aid. He has been often inept in his efforts to combat corruption but there is a long way from failing to be effective in combatting corruption and benefiting personally from it. Most corruption in Ukraine stems from oligarchs, majority of whom are connected to Kremlin.

        Anyway, the thread is about orc lies like those linked above. Again you sidestep the inconvenient point to rant about the irrelevant.

    2. Perhaps the various homeless encampments around the country can be moved into the various offices of the CBC. The headquarters in Toronto, alone, could handle many homeless peoples. Warmth, light, carpeted floors on which to pitch tents and bathrooms. Heck, there are even mini-kitchens with coffee makers and refrigerators on each floor.
