Saskatchewan’s Year in Energy: Premier Scott Moe, 2023: Part 1, Fighting the Feds

Scott Moe.

Energy, and the “energy transition” being forced upon Canadians by the federal government, is becoming the dominant story, affecting all our lives and everything we do. In his year-end interview with Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, Pipeline Online dives deep into the biggest energy issues of the past year.

This is Part 1: Fighting the Feds.

Part 2 will focus on addressing low oil drilling activity, despite decent oil prices.

Part 3 discusses the Clean Electricity Regulations and their impact, and widespread adoption of nuclear power.

Part 4 talks about lithium and helium development, and ends with Christmas greetings.

  1. Simply stating that AGW is a fraud based on failed hypothesis and manipulated data, and providing the overwhelming evidence that supports that, would negate the necessity to fight the battle within the lines drawn by the alarmists.

    1. Those who secretly rule us would be unable to do so if we were strong, educated, organized, and understood who we are and our history. As a result, they keep us weak, ignorant, disorganized, swamp us with immigrants, and teach us fictions.

They do this through imbecilic policies supported by “the left”. By miseducating us in schools whose curriculums they control. Through junk science they push through repetition rather than facts and logic. Through fake history they teach on “The History Channel” and follow-up with imagery supplied by Hollywood.

Their tools include every level of gov’t, public sector unions, the media, “globalist” corporations, etc. To ensure that no one opposes this stupidity, they ensure that their opposition is also comprised of actors that work for them.

      Like Scott Moe.

  2. You cannot accept the premises of your opponent and win an argument. Scott Moe will lose eventually because he is accepting the AGW argument without challenging it.

    1. CC; you are absolutely right. Either he doesn’t understand the real science or he’s playing to the media. Either way, it’s going to come back to haunt him, and unfortunately, all of us

      1. Our federal and provincial “conservative” parties have painted themselves into multiple corners: immigration; covid; global warming; gender bullshit, etc. And the reason they allowed that to happen it is the same reason why they feel they can’t call horseshit on it now: because they were, and are, deathly afraid of the urban press. Even if they had the courage and honesty to admit that they were wrong – which they don’t – they lack the skills and tactics that would be required to successfully engineer retreats/reversals.

So, as all of you have noted in one way or another, until that changes, we will continue to endure this puppet theater.

        1. The country didn’t get shifted so far to the left over night and it won’t return to sanity over night either. I believe that Comrade Pierre Trudeau made a statement something along the lines that “when you embark on a long sea voyage all it takes is a very small adjustment of the rudder that people on the boat don’t notice and when they get to shore they are a long way from what they thought would be their destination”.
