  5. Israel is too smart by half and is losing this war. The US is too stupid by half and is losing its entire empire in part because it keeps supporting lost causes like Israel and Ukraine. Sending a bunch of boats to the Middle East simply makes the boats targets and does nothing to change the situation on the ground. Now the US is finally talking about ending finances. What I find most interesting is that if you are a bad guy with a few billion to launder you have two possible places to take your money. Kiev or Tel Aviv.

Israel is in transgression of international law and convention with its occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. Israel began breaking the law in 1948 and has never stopped. Sadly people like you think that disagreeing with one means support for another. Bothe are wrong and both need to be brought to heel.

        1. Israel would not be “occupying” if it hadn’t been attacked multiple times by forces determined to end its existence. In the case of Israel, the citing of international law is asinine. Israel relinquished Gaza in 2005 and look how they have been rewarded. Palestinians have turned down a two state solution multiple times. Palestinians have shown that they will not compromise on their fanatic obsession with the very existence of a successful Jewish state in the Middle East. Hamas is responsible for the deaths of civilians in Gaza in that they committed heinous acts in Israel that could not go unanswered. And adult Palestinians share the guilt because they support Hamas.

  10. Israel should reduce the Gaza strip in size and raze Gaza City. Pike the rubble into one giant mountain as a memorial to the stupidity and savagery of the Palestinians so that they can all see the wages of terror.

    The U.S. and allied nations should declare that any Iranian naval aggression without a formal declaration of war will be regarded as piracy. Offending vessels will be destroyed and captured crew will be subject to summary judgement and/or execution.

    The pirates are making the case for an American Expeditionary force..

    1. Problem with that solution is that we have let the situation deteriorate to such an extent that they now outnumber us. we have become the masters of our own demise. We allow more and more immigrants and refugees into the country that do not ascribe to our values of a civilized society and at the same time we have allowed our education system to be administered by extremists who are teaching our children that we are the enemy. In short we are now in a no-win situation.

      That’s what a proportional response is, not a limp wristed harsh diplomatic memo.

      The reason the US emerged from being a weak independent country in the early 1800’s is because they implemented a government policy of not paying a ransom to the Barbary pirates and created the US Navy and Marines that made forceful impression on Muslim warlords that lasted almost two centuries until weak politicians let their position slip.

      If they want to restore things they need to return to past practice and decimate the current warlords.

    I prefer over-the-top disproportionate response. Think 10:1, 100:1, or 1000:1.

    If they set off a bomb, we drop 100 bombs. If they launch a rocket, we counter with a day long artillery barrage.

    Lasting peace between dissimilar cultures can only be attained through mutual opportunity backed by the threat of overwhelming violence and destruction. Basically, the stick and carrot.
