    1. Wow. End of an era & simpler times. My very first concert was April Wine’s Stand Back album, played in the freshly constructed Lethbridge Sportsplex in ’76. I recall when they set the cannon off at the end of the concert. Watched them live a number of times since then, including a replay at the Sportsplex some 15-20 years or so ago.

  7. The new Florida Central Florida Tourism Oversight District issued its audit of Disney and the now defunct Reedy Creek Special District. It is ugly.

    The report flat out says Disney and Reedy Creek violated State and Federal laws, including IRS and SEC Security Laws.

The Assistant Attorney General of the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice just testified that she is unaware of the Missouri vs. Biden case which is winding through the courts and will likely be before SCOTUS. So far, the case has already established that the administration has committed the largest 1st Amendment violation in the history of the country. Take your pick, this incompetence can be explained by
    a) AAG is black
    b) AAG is a woman
    c) AAG is a Democrat
    d) DEI
    e) all the above

  17. Our woke schools have declared that math is racist so it comes as no surprise that the math scores in Canadian schools are in freefall (the story is behind the Globe’s paywall) .

    “Math scores of Canadian students continued their steep slide, according to a new international ranking that reinforces the continuing domestic concern about how the subject is taught in schools.

    The latest results from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation’s Programme for International Student Assessment, released Tuesday, show that Canada’s overall scores declined 35 points between 2003 and 2022. Only 12 per cent of Canadian students were high math achievers, scoring at Level 5 or 6. That’s fewer than some of the top Asian countries and economies: In Singapore, 41 per cent of students performed at the top level; in Hong Kong, 27 per cent; and in Japan and Korea, 23 per cent.”

    Only Trudeau’s Liberal government has ful status. This means only the corrupt Trudeau government can cross-examine witnesses and have access to secret documents. The Conservatives cannot cross-examine witnesses and only has access to documents made public during the hearings.

    So even at this late stage the bloody fix is in. Unbelievable. We live in a banana republic.
