Hahahaha ha ha … that slip knot … slipped
They had to dump 20 Tons of fuel prior to landing, according to Pilot on ATC.
They conducted the fuel dumping procedure approx 10 miles west of Martha’s Vineyard.
That poor horse. It must have been terrified. It was “in difficulty” presumably before it broke free, or that may be why it did that. Difficulty breathing? Could have been several serious problems. I’d like to know if that poor animal survived.
Geez, only missed by 10 miles. Can’t do anything right!

I think a vet travels with the animals and if something happens the animal is euthanized.
Paardenvlees
A number of expats I knew quite enjoyed paardenvlees. A Dutch friend was going to tell them what cut of meat it was, but I kicked him under the table. He later asked me why I kicked him. I said there’s no need to spoil their dinners. Let them enjoy horse meat.
I don’t think horses are flown to Europe for slaughter – too costly. That is done in Alberta or Quebec. I suspect Canada imports a lot of American horses for slaughter. The meat is exported, mostly to Europe..
