This post is late getting up as I’m on the road with no time online, and only learned of events a few minutes ago. Consider this your open thread to drop links and other information. Perhaps the guest bloggers will have more in the hours to come.
@ezralevant – Hamas has taken rape slaves. That’s the terrorist group Trudeau funded with $50 million tax dollars. That’s who CUPE supports.
“They shot people in cars and at bus stops, they rounded up women and children into rooms like Einsatzgruppen and machine-gunned them. They went house to house to find and murder civilians hiding in their closets, and they dragged the bloody, dead bodies of Israelis back into Gaza where they are now being paraded, beaten, and mutilated in front of exultant crowds. One young Israeli woman was murdered and stripped to her underwear, and her corpse was thrown in the back of a pickup truck so it could be paraded around Gaza while young Hamas men beat and mutilated her body.”
@NoahPollak details the horrors of the Hamas invasion of Israel and the brutalizing and murder of innocent Israeli civilians including women and children. He calls this Israel’s 9/11 and he’s right.

This whole ugly event brings to mind a less than enthusiastic quote from Admiral Yamamoto’s diary regarding the successful attack on Pearl Harbour.
“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
As we all know, Yamamoto was absolutely correct. Hopefully this cowardly debacle will have the same result.
According to many over here, anyone supporting Israel or even just not openly supporting Hamas is somehow in favour of a tyrannical and genocidal Israeli regime. I challenged some to back that claim up considering the side they back just murdered hundreds and commited an untold number of utterly barbaric atrocotiies, and seems to only exist to “kill all the Jews,” no word back. Imagine one of them will come up with the same tired trope they always run out about soldiers gutting pregnant women and throwing babies into fires with zero evidence like always. There’s only one group barbaric enough to do that, after all, the one who thought it up in the first place.
My own thoughts on what should happen next:
1. Notify EVERYONE in Gaza to leave within 24 hours.
2. Turn every square inch of Gaza to rubble.
3. Make the rubble bounce.
4. Allow no one to return to Gaza for the next many years, and leave it as an example.
Economics expert Gerald Celente say that with falling oil prices major bankers like Blackrock, the Rothschilds and Soros needed something to drive up oil prices again and so they got their friends in the Mossad and the IDF to do this false flag attack against Israeli “civilians” as an excuse to do another massacre against the Palestinians as a prelude to a huge attack on the oil producing country of Iran.
Oh STFU.
Strasser?
I think its a little early to jump to conclusions like that. While I don’t doubt that there were traitors within the Israeli intelligence service that helped allow this to happen, I think your assertion is unfounded.
Now, if Israel goes after Iranian oilfields before cleaning out the viper’s pit that is Gaza, well then, that would be evidence in favor of your assertion, until then, you have zero evidence.
I think it’s likely that there was connivance from within the Israeli intelligence community, there is no way that an operation on this scale was “accidentally” overlooked by one of the best intelligence services on the planet.
Pray for wisdom among leaders of Israel. If the response is too harsh the hostages will probably be killed and a high probability would exist that the entire Islamic world could declare war. Given how few friends Israel has in the world (beyond talk which is worth little), I don’t know how keen Israel would be to take on that many adversaries, even if they could probably defeat any one or two of them with relative ease.
And of course if the response is too weak, trouble will escalate as it always does when a bully is not severely punished.
Perhaps if those Pal leaders really are at a hotel in Qatar, then Israeli special forces could pay a special visit and arrange for free transport back to Jerusalem.
Anyway, if anybody thought there was still a “peace process” available, I would say this formally ends such a concept. The Pal leadership obviously decided to roll the dice in a “now or never” attempt to create a context for various other forces to unite with them, to improve their situation if not to destroy the Israeli state. That seems very unlikely and therefore this could be the beginning of the end of the P.A., I would expect a return to the earlier occupation status of both Gaza and West Bank within a year or two. The world will protest until blue in the face but they won’t intervene and probably won’t really care. The Pals have managed to outdo the Israelis in one way, they actually have fewer friends in the world than Israel.

There is no way that this is an intelligence failure. It is an intelligence conspiracy.
Netanyahu’s “far right” coalition government rubbed many established high ranking globalist Israeli officials the wrong way. IMHO They quashed the information and will now do every thing they can to blame and bring down Netanyahu and his cabinet. The entire current U.S. administration is a globalist front, no ally to Netanyahu, so, no help there.

Time for a one state solution. Any Palestinian terrorist that doesn’t want to live under the Israeli flag can go to Afghanistan or some other Arab hellhole. Bulldoze Gaza and turn it into settlements.
But with all the equivocating over Russia and the Putin boot-licking, and what not, I thought you people were on board with the invasion of peaceful sovereign states? What’s the matter?
