As SDA readers are well aware of, any conservative or libertarian who challenges popular narratives on almost any topic is bound to be branded a conspiracy theorist these days. In this talk, Dr. Philip McMillan notes that academia seems to be going all out to create new terms like “conspiracy mindedness” in an effort to attack ideas that they don’t like. In rebuttal, he proposes a new term that deserves to gain some traction: naivete mindedness.
“It would be very interesting if they did a similar conspiracy theory scale looking at a naivete mindedness scale so they look at the opposite end: those people who don’t question anything, who go along completely with what they’re told even if what they’re told doesn’t necessarily make sense… that’s the naivety minded sense and it would be interesting to see what the outcomes of those kinds of research would be anyway.”
“any conservative or libertarian who challenges popular narratives on almost any topic is bound to be branded a conspiracy theorist these days.”
Don’t forget any conservative or libertarian who challenges escalating war is also branded a “pootin supporter” or a traitor, even when the vast support for the war is driven by far left lunatics and Liberal state sponsored MSM.
Outside of that, the Power support lays in those that profit whether they call themselves Liberal or Conservative, Donald Trump calls them the Swamp.
Indeed.
Conservatives and libertarians on SDA who challenge the narrative or point out thought inconsistency is called out as a ndp supporter
Prideful in their ignorance, they feel their way around the world, abandoning all logic, and replacing what works with what sounds good or compassionate
With the rise of the misanthropic megalomaniacs in positions of power, being naive is a fatal flaw. In this new reality, it will not be the meek who will inherit the Earth. It will be the cynical , stubborn skeptics who inherit the Earth.
They’re already a term for naïveté mindedness.
We called them NPC’s
As much as I admire MacMillan and all the other researchers, scientists, doctors and the rest who have been warning us of this danger I would suggest instead of “a naivete mindedness scale” a Milgram scale, to honour Stanley Milgram.

Agreed. Those who challenge the idiocy we’re fed by the controlled media or by the puppets in gov’t are dehumanized by the scum behind the curtain.
Those who see through the lies fall into the second circle of “conservatism”, which is also controlled.
Those who see the inconsistencies there, and/or who notice that all those who lead the charge here are friends with those in power above, and mix and mingle freely with them, if not in person then in ideology.
Those who also reject this mostly go fall into the Alex Jones stupidity, which is also controlled.
And those who don’t find comfort in either of these outer circles come closest to realizing how the whole system is gamed. (Trump included…) And these people are mocked by all, and are the target of every form of gov’t aggression.
Because they are the ONLY actual threat to the system. If left unchecked, they will wake up others, and that’s a risk those behind the curtain will not tolerate.
Sheeple works for me.
