  1. Prediction: The “asteroid” samples will contain the same materials found on earth.

Kinda like the petrified wood that NASA pretended was from the moon.

  2. What are the chances that they open the capsule door and grey / black spray foam covers earth and kills everything?

  3. Did they find water on the asteroid? Seems that NASA can find water EVERYWHERE … except on planet earth. Desperate to “prove” life isn’t unique on earth …

    1. That’s what they were all thinking, for sure. Did you see the suits on the desert recovery team? Racoon City!

If any bug survived the trip down on the outside of that pod, it came from Planet Krypton for sure.

  4. I suspect NASA is just one big money laundering scheme and everything we’re watching is a CGI puppet show for the gullible.

    I’m kind of jealous.

  5. Zipping along at 7km/second, slamming into Earth’s atmosphere the friction of which will have temperatures exceeding 2000 C and that cutesy silk parachute deploys, strings and all like it was nothing.
Brings to mind a story my parachute instructor told me about having a malfunction on his very first jump. Not the kind of shit I wanted to hear on my first jump.

  6. The left: Women can be men, and vice-versa.
The right: The Earth is Flat, and other similar BS.
One thing they both have in common is that Math is Hard.

  7. What if they find, as they will if they do this often enough, usable resources? Such things as large amounts of pure iron and nickel, for instance? Here is the fact, 90% of our resources are out there.

And then we can use those resources to build space solar power and beam it back to Earth (and/or just us it up there), for unlimited amounts of power (you can get at least six times the power from the sun up there). This has been blocked from even being tested on spurious grounds, because unlimited power is freedom. “Our betters” (or so they think themselves) are doing much of what they do now to solve the problem that someone, somewhere, is doing something without their permission. With unlimited power, that would happen far more. We don’t want that, do we? Shut up and obey.
