  1. Is it any surprise that the banks were so agreeable to seizing accounts during Justin Trudeau’s War Measure Act, aka EMA?
Canada is as corrupt as any banana republic.

  2. nobody craps on the people more than a liberal bank.

And noooooobody is more full of crap than a turdeau liberal.

She does not owe anyone anything. She’s a fairy princess.

    1. Exactly – just different tentacles of the same octopus.

And this isn’t anything new, nor did one side corrupt the other. They were always both controlled by the same people, always working against the interests of the common man.

The politicians are simply the puppets visible to the people. And it makes no difference to the outcome if they’re politicians on the left, the far left, or the fake right.

  3. And I’m STILL lying on a beach, collecting 20 percent.

    Neener, neener.

  4. The behaviour of the federal government and its agencies only makes sense if it’s viewed as a criminal organization.

    1. “The behavior of any bureaucratic organization can best be understood by assuming that it is controlled by a secret cabal of its enemies.”

  5. Banks are part of The Club which includes airlines and telecommunications. They are protected from competition and customer complaints by the federal government. These corporations seem to collectively and collaboratively decide prices. Is this why Canada has some of the highest prices for airline tickets, mobile phone data and bank fees?

If these corporations fail to bring down prices and improve customer service, the government should allow foreign competition. A taxpayer funded Consumer Agency would not be needed.

      1. Yes, the dairy marketing board needs competition too. Disgruntled provinces like Alberta and Saskatchewan should allow their farmers to defy the dairy and egg cartel. Maybe under the Alberta Sovereignty Act and Saskatchewan First Act.

        1. There is no way dairy producers in AB/SK would defy the milk marketing board. The moneys guaranteed. They have zero interest in changing one thing about it.

          1. To clarify, I’m advocating letting new egg and dairy producing farmers in, without requiring them to go through the dairy or egg marketing boards.

I’ve been buying bootleg eggs from local farmers for years. The quality of the eggs is so much better. Darker, more flavorful yolks and thicker, healthier shells. Plus, they deliver to your door. Given the opportunity, I’d buy milk from local farmers too.

          2. I too buy bootleg eggs, and would love to be able to buy normal, healthy milk before all of the nutrients are boiled away due to the state-enforced idiocy that is pasteurization, whose name derives from the anti-scientific Roman Catholic kook, Louis Pasteur.

All cartels (including taxis) should be made illegal immediately, and the assets of all corporations involved dissolved and returned to the citizens who were fleeced to begin with.

Such a statement may sound shocking to the soft-minded socialist-indoctrinated serfs today, but I would go much, much further. Including slowly burning to death those involved in such criminality.

This would be a useful lesson for any future POSs who tried to implement something similar in the future under any pretense.

          3. I’m only advocating for choice, freer markets, competition and a way to poke the federal government.

Aren’t environmentalists always saying we should eat more locally sourced food? Think of how many polar bears will live if we cut down the CO2 emissions of cross country egg and dairy transportation. /s

Yes! I like it. Someone has to take a stand against this outrageous profiteering, and it certainly won’t be the CPC.

Do that, make it national news and embarrass the federal government into doing the right thing.

          1. …embarrass the federal government…

Sheeit. If their past & current performance hasn’t embarassed the hell outta ’em, nothing ever will.

    1. It’s usually the look in their eyes or the froot loop hair. If that doesn’t make them look deranged there’s always the air of smugness. This one’s full of smug.

  6. They’re not even hiding their contempt for us anymore are they? Why does the name Marie Antoinette pop into my mind?

    1. It will get really interesting when people like her, ordinarily secure in her bureaucratic anonymity (while dispassionatley abusing the public she serves), are identified and berated, or worse, vigilante style by citizens feeling they have no other recourse for reddress of their grievances. Police, politicians, high level bureaucrats, etc. I’m actually surprised it hasn’t started happening yet, but I feel it’s coming.

    1. He’s going to be very busy cleaning out the federal house of all these apparatchiks and partisans

      1. He won’t do anything of the kind, just like he’s not going to shut down (defund) the CBC in any manner which would remove them from the air.
        These are the “Conservatives”, remember.

  7. This is treason. When Cuck PC MP wannabe shows up at your door, do insist you want them to get behind the death penalty for traitors and pedos. If they balk, decline further contact and support. You, voter, don’t need to vote as hard as you think.

    1. Correct, and so far, the CPC hasn’t shown any willingness to work for my vote, either.

  8. So she gets paid a lavish salary, what does she do all day because she certainly is not protecting those who filed complaints?

  9. She is another government tick sucking at the flesh of the populace and doing absolutely nothing useful except contributing to the rot. Fire her and her entire bureau.

  10. So, Parliament created this BS Agency to “protect the rights” of bank customers; did it really? Well, bank customers other than elites have no rights. Have you ever read their outrageously one-sided, take-it-or-leave -it agreements for accounts, loans, credit cards or lines of credit? It’s no wonder that this old bat and her fart-catchers have nothing to do.

  11. It is a little known fact that all dormant accounts are not turned over to the Bank of Canada after ten years. Some accounts that the banks allow or engineer to go dormant remain with the bank in perpetuity. How is that for a sweet deal between the big five and the revenue and finance ministries.
