I just don’t get how our interests align with Ukraine. I mean I oppose Russia’s invasion but why are we involved in this?

I presume they get the “usual vigorish” of 10% on military spending, plus a nice little kick-back thank you from the Ukraine Money Laundry (largest in the world, I hear…). Plus Blackrock has already been in negotiations with Ukraine for the “Rebuilding Contract” (so figure on huge “donations” to those making this destruction possible…)
Then remember all the “Children Of The Elite” who will get paid seats on boards of directors and other nice “do nothing but know people” jobs out of all this…
And all it costs is about 350,000 dead Young Ukrainians, and 40-50,000 dead Russians (and the odd few dozen Polish, English, etc. “volunteers”). Oh, and maybe $1/2 Trillion of borrowed money and increased inflation, but that’s just going to hit the working class, so it’s OK.
