The unscrupulous recycling of cooking oil is a hazard China has long been all too familiar with. Merchants were once infamous for collecting waste to blend with clean edible oil, triggering scandals — and eventually crackdowns.
Today, with the waste-oil industry and westward exports booming thanks to Europe’s push for more green fuel, the questions are back.
European producers worry they’re being undercut by companies in Asia that are mixing fuels with cheaper feedstocks and mislabeling them in order to qualify for renewable-energy incentives.
There is circumstantial evidence for concern. A spike in Chinese exports to Europe over the past year has coincided with a significant increase in Chinese imports of palm waste and palm-based biofuel from Indonesia and Malaysia.
Those products have been shunned by European Union nations and their consumers, wary of encouraging deforestation and, in general, reluctant to use agricultural products for fuel.
Only quality products come out of China… that is, bad quality!
I’ve noticed a boom in Amazon/Chinese products.. It was bad before, but just about EVERTYTHING is now Chinese… Are they the new owners?.. I notice it everywhere now.. Much of my social networks, there is an increase in Chinese products.. This has to stop,somehow.
Western environmental, labour and elfin saffey laws make it impossible to produce consumer goods at prices the middle class can afford. The bad products have pushed out the good. I’ve looked for companies producing goods in Western countries because I’d rather pay the extra money for quality, but they don’t exist. They’ve been crushed out of the market.
I think the big problem is with the word “green”, it is a color, and other than that meaningless.

Wary to encourage use of forest products! Ha, the Brits converted a huge coal plant, Drax B, to run off US wood pellets.
And they use a massive amount of fossil fuels to log, process, and transport the wood. And in the end it has just as much carbon as coal. Greenies are absolutely stucking fupid.
But their new solar panels don’t take much energy to make and will last 25 years making MWhrs of clean practically free power, or something.
They claim Christianity wants to ruin all your fun and tell you … with officious AUTHORITY … how to live your lives. Yet … when the church of “green” Gaia worship actually does that very thing … takes away your gas stoves, forces you to freeze in the dark, and takes away your ICE automobile … with the full POWER and AUTHORITY of the government … the same critics go silent.
It’s a LIE about Christ … but it’s demonstrably TRUE about the Green cult.
The Euro-greens boycott palm oil because it causes deforestation? Actually it converts native forests to managed forests of Palm trees which are an important economic contributor to that region. Euro-greens are on a suicide mission and the populations affected are starting to wake up. Gang Green is a death cult.
