I still find it sad and amusing that one can easily find both Mao and Che T-shirts. The people who wear them seem oblivious to the fact that both were insane mass murderers.
Whenever I see them being warn, I imagine they are Adolph Hitler Tee shirts as it more emblematically represents their mentality being much more socially unacceptable. The left can accept mass murder from their own but in their deranged perceptions, Hitler is believed not to be of the left. The progressives who admired Hitler during the early thirties had to distance themselves after the war and particularly after Germany invaded the USSR, hence the progressive myth of national socialism being somehow “right wing”.
There was no meaningful difference between Hitler and Marx. Both were socialists. They had an identical methodology: identify a group; kill them all; steal everything they possess. For Hitler, the target group was the Jews. For Marxists, the target group was the bourgeoisie, whom Marx identified as Jews.
The meaningful difference is that Hitler distrusted Stalin and the USSR’s idea of “international socialism” seeing it merely as old fashioned imperialism with Russia in charge. That, of course, would interfere with his plans for German imperialism. Therefore “national socialism”. With communism, the state owns all industry. With fascism, it directs and guides industry for the benefit of the state. A distinction without much of a difference?

Moreover, fascism and national socialism are two entirely different things that have nothing to do with each other. Under national socialism, the state owns and controls everything whereas under fascism it does not. It was far more than “Hitler distrusted Stalin”. The entire purpose of National Socialism was to invade the lands of the East, kill everyone there and seize their resources for the Volk.
You can only understand this by recognizing that, like Communism, National Socialism was a religious gnostic cult. Fascism is not. Fascism is literally “trade unionism”. That’s how Gentile, the founder, defined it and Mussolini introduced it in the 1920s.

Sufficient “revolutionary furvor” seems to excuse any crime committed by the heroes of the revolution, such as describing blacks as “… indolent and a dreamer, spending his meagre wage on frivolity and drink” or his hatred of homosexuals that resulted in them being placed in camps to be beaten and murdered.
